PROVE A BORDO DEL PP6 PP6 SHIP TRIALS

Dal 7 al 16 ottobre 1991 vennero condotte, in porto ed in navigazione, le prime prove di operabilitą dell'EH101 sulla nave portaeromobili Garibaldi, della Marina Militare Italiana. L'attivitą, che vide impegnato il PP6, fu principalmente concentrata nella conduzione di un certo numero di manovre volte a verificare gli ingombri durante gli spostamenti del velivolo sul ponte di volo ed in hangar; l'utilizzo delle strutture gią disponibili a bordo; un certo numero di decolli ed appontaggi sui vari "spots" ed in varie condizioni di vento. In quella occasione il PP6 compģ la sua centesima ora di volo.

The first EH101 ship trials on board Italian Navy a/c carrier Garibaldi, were carried out from the 7th to the 16th October 1991. The activity , where the PP6 was involved into, mainly aimed to assess the helicopter operability on the flight deck and into the hangar; the usage of the facilities available on board; many take off and landings from and to all the available spots with different wind conditions. On that occasion the PP6 flew the 100th flight hour.
