ESCHATOLOGY

The day in which we live has witnessed a surge of interest in Biblical Eschatology.

Biblical Eschatology, What's that?

es·cha·tol·o·gy (µs"k-t¼l"…-j) n. 1. The branch of theology that is concerned with the end of the world or of humankind. 2. A belief or a doctrine concerning the ultimate or final things, such as death, the destiny of humanity, the Second Coming, or the Last Judgment. [Greek eskhatos, last; see eghs below + -logy.] --es·chat"o·log"i·cal (¹-sk²t"l-¼j-kl, µs"k-t-l¼j"-) adj. --es·chat"o·log"i·cal·ly adv. --es"cha·tol"o·gist n.    (The American Heritage Dictionary)

The Holy Word of God declares:

Isaiah 46:9-10 Remember the former things of old: for I am God, and there is none else; I am God, and there is none like me,
Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand, and I will do all my pleasure:

God, who knows the end from the beginning , has seen fit to take us into His confidence concerning His plan for the future and has revealed His plan and purpose in the Scriptures.
