TESTIMONIES

OF THE

CALLED, CHOSEN AND FAITHFUL

Revelation 12:11 "And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony."

Testimonies are accounts of victory through Jesus Christ, the One God and Savior, who gives us the strength and power to be over-comers. They are monuments to faith in action, as well as change. A testimony also shows what can be accomplished through having a desire to cast off the wretched hopelessness of a life without God, for the wonderful peace and joy that the Holy Ghost brings, and the knowledge that we will one day, when time is no more, be with God Almighty our Savior forever. As the Apostle Paul personally testified about his life, which was fraught with persecution and hardship, in 2 Timothy 4:8: "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing." What a wonderful testimony for a saint of God, and one which we can all claim if we are prepared as the scripture has instructed us in Acts 2:38-9!

These testimonies from the Called, Chosen, and Faithful stand as a living rebuke to those who have lost their first love, who have grown cold and lukewarm refusing to obey Biblical standards of holiness. Blaming God, the Church or the preacher to justify lives of hypocrisy, and placing their love for the things of this world and their love for the praises of men over their love for the praises of God.

Hebrews 12:1-2  "Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith..."

Hebrews 12:12-15;25 "Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees (13) And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed. (14) Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord (15) Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled (25) See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:"
