My name is Robert Shirar. I am a student at Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott Arizona. I am currently an Aerospace Engineering Major, but I have been interested in computers my whole life and I may transfer to computer engineering eventually. I have a brother at Embry Riddle that is in his third year of the Air Science program. He always wanted to be a pilot and he loves every minute of it. We were really fortunate to have found this University. There are so many things, at this institution, to learn. I am interested in most of the things that are taught here. Almost any one of the majors offered, I find interesting and challenging. I do believe that the major I started with to be the most challenging one that the school has to offer. I have made numerous lifelong friends here, and have been reunited with many of my good friends and aquaintances from Southern California.
I woud like to say thank you to those of you that supported me in my efforts this week , running for SGA President. I am very grateful to know that I have so many friends here. I am sure that a student body with so many intelligent, enthusiastic individuals will do well with any of the qualified candidates at the helm, and it seems that there are more than enough projects available to keep everyone interested in improving the campus very busy!
