One day, while turning the dial, I came across a unique radio program. Here was a host who was taking on unusual topics. Some of the topics range from homosexuality, abortion, heavy metal to occult practices.

One listener got into a feisty argument with the host. She believed "we are all gods, we learn from our own mistakes. I don't need anyone else, except myself." The host tried to explain to her that she needed God. Most people on his show, blast him out for being a fool.

When I first listened to him, I could not believe what I was hearing. Here was a man who was taking a stand against the Satanists, witchcraft, pagans and heavy metal fans, and giving them a message of hope. I sometimes find myself being deceived into things not easily understood. Some of their stories are real heart breakers.

There are real people who are dealing with real issues. Hate crime to unspeakable acts of horror, the likes Hollywood couldn't even conceive a few years ago. I realized that there are issues no one person wants to tackle--the pagan invasion. Although the church does talk about the anti-Christian movement around us, it does not seem to have an answer of how to solve.

This is not a subject to brush off lightly as just kid stuff, or something that everybody dabbles in and nothing happens. This stuff is real and powerful. It was just like your parents use to say, "Don't touch the stove it's hot." Naturally, you touched it and got a nasty burn out of it. But did you learn? Maybe.

Many people will try this "religion" as a way to find inner meaning and peace to their life, but it is an illusion. The devil can't give only misery, not peace.

Others will try the new age movement as a way to weed out unwanted thoughts and pleasures, since they are not sins but rather guilty conscience. In fact this is even deadlier, it is a doorway to Satan. For Satan will trick you that you don't really have a problem, just a weakness you need to overcome.

But in reality, it is still sin. Only Jesus overcome it. He lived liked us, but never sinned. He was obedient, even to the point of death. Therefore, we can turn to Him knowing that He alone can overcome all obstacle. Isaiah 55:8, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD."

Jesus gives us peace of mind when we come to him with an open heart and a humble stance. He frowns on those who think they are above God, or don't need him. The devil has many tricks up his sleeve, but he is an imitator, not the originator.

He can warp himself up in something tat look good, but taste bitter. Revelation 10:10, "And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter."

Therefore, only God is the true source of all things. How can you turn down an offer where there is no catch?

Come and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior today. Don't delay.

Until next time.
