Episode 5: Sharon Parker Gets Killed
Stardate: 2414.1.31

Sharon went to see Head Council Gramm about the murder. Gramm held the highest position in the Council, the organization's purpose was to investigate all crimes across the galaxy. She felt that the investigation would turn up evidence about the gang that killed the black man. When Jonathan Sparks heard out about Sharon's complaint, Jonathan ordered the group to stay silent. Jonathan arranges to see Sharon at her house.

At first everything was going fine, until Jonathan brought up the subject of the investigation. Sharon tried to deny all knowledge of the incident. The more Jonathan pushed, the less Sharon felt she was in control of the situation. She had two choices: either deny the truth or be prepared to accept the consequences? Sharon felt that Jonathan would not harm her in any way. Boy, was she wrong. Jonathan hits her on the head with a book, knocking Sharon unconscious. Jonathan bugs her phone, escapes through the bedroom window and runs off.

Matthew explained that in the diaries she called Head Council Gramm on numerous occasions. Some were on the details of the murder of the black man, other times were about the group's mysterious behavior. Gramm told her repeatedly to "stay low as possible."

From one of the taped conversations, Gramm speaking, "We just found out who that black man was. He was (looking through the papers)...Ah here it is, John Pierce. He was the track star athlete. Got A's in school. It seemed that John had a fight with one member of the group. It doesn't seem to state the reason why. I assume it was racially motivated."

"Was there anything else?"

"No. Could I arrange a date so that I can explain all of this to you in a more private settings. Would about Monday the18th."

"Fine."

Hangs up phone, and background comment heard sounding like, " Now its time to whack her." (Author's note: Jonathan was suspicious of Sharon. At times he never trusted her. Now he knew that the truth was about to be exposed.)

On the morning of the 18th, Sharon checked her plane and flew off to the Council Headquarters, located on the planet Orion IV. She was an experienced pilot who knew how to get out of tight situations. Halfway there, her fuel gauge was reading Empty. She began to make her descent to the planet surface. One eyewitness saw the plane making a nose drive and then exploded in a giant fireball. When rescue teams arrived, she was barely alive, but was announced DOA at St. Charles Hospital.

Afterwards, the family was furious. Matthew knew that the group would go after the diaries and try to destroy them. Matthew hid the diaries in a vault and sealed it after all the diaries were in there. There was no way the group could find them now. An investigation was formed into her death and Jonathan was their first suspects.
