Rob and Karla
You were two individuals who resolved to live your lives on your own Content, carefree, not thinking that you would ever settle down
Then one magical day you met (by chance?) at work An event which would turn your lives around You started flirting with each other not knowing that it was fate You then had lunch together - a debatable first date
You soon became a couple, sharing intimate things Like your fears, secret desires, and your common dreams
The conversations that you had seemed to never end It was almost like each of you had found a long lost friend
You grew closer together, but were still too blind to see What (a few) of us around you, saw what clearly was meant to be
You fell in love with each other and this came from the heart You discovered something missing when you were apart
This growing attachment made you feel great! You both now realized that you had found your soul mate
Karla Your search for a knight in shining armor you now know was through Though I'd bet you were surprised He came paddling a canoe! Your relationship grew ever stronger; this was plain to see As you announced your engagement to your friends and family
Today you will pledge to each other, your unending love Sharing your day with family and friends with blessings from above
As you start on your new journey today as man and wife Take a moment to reflect as you enter a new phase of life
No longer will the two of you be living life alone When you return to your apartment you'll find that it's truly now a home
May your lives together be filled with happiness I know that everyone here wishes you the best
May you forever grow in love, respect and appreciation for one another May you be blessed with long life, good health and always be there for each other
May you appreciate what your parents did to guide you along the way And know that by your actions you honor them today
May you continue to support each other's individuality Though this will be a challenge when you have Keiki
But that is in the future The story to unfold
You can tell it to your grandchildren, as you're growing old
This brings us to the reason that we're here today
To honor and to celebrate Rob and Karla's Wedding Day!
