Through attending Occasional Care, children:
* Learn social skills by mixing with other children
* Engage in play experiences suitable for their age and ability.
* Participate in a supervised program which is safe, fun and friendly.
Occasional Care provides care for children whilst parents can:
* Attend a course at the House or elsewhere
* Attend an appointment.
* Play sport or visit a friend.
* Have a break from parenting duties.
* Go shopping.
Occasional Care session times
Monday to Wednesday 9:30am to 12:30pm
Thursday 1:00-4:00pm
Fees
For a 3-hour session:
Standard
1 child $11.00 2+ children $16.00
Concession
1 child $9.00 2+ children $12.00
Pro-rata rates apply for 1 or 2 hours of care. It is recommended that children attend for the full session if possible, to become familiar with the routine, and reduce disruption to the other children in the group.
Bookings
Casual bookings can be made up to 2 weeks in advance. A limited number of advance bookings are available for a ten-week term.
