Rage Against the Machine
Rating (1-10): 9.5
Rage Against the Machine was the first band to successfully combine rap and metal. Along with that, their strong political views are expressed in the music. This album is filled with raw power rarely seen these days. Zack and his motley crue lash out at many political institutions and issues in america. Check this album out if you want something to think about and something cool to listen to. "Bombtrack", "Killing in the Name", "Take the Power Back", "Bullet in Your Head", "Know Your Enemy", "Wake Up", and "Freedom" all rock.
Evil Empire
Rating (1-10): 9
This album has the most issues discussed on it but the songs aren't as good as the first one. Once again the issues and where Rage stands on them are blatently obvious. "People of the Sun" and "Bulls on Parade" are perhaps Rage's most famous songs and "Vietnow", "Revolver", "Tire Me", and "Down Rodeo" all kick serious ass.
The Battle of Los Angeles
Rating (1-10): 8
I'm not gonna lie, this album was a let-down. There still are political issues, but the music sounds repetitive and not as hard as the first two cds. You should still get this cd to support Rage, but overall, a dissapointment. "Testify", "Guerilla Radio", "Calm Like a Bomb", and "Sleep Now in the Fire" are all cool.
