Static-X have adopted the term "Evil Disco" and applied it to their music. Actually, this is not a bad assessment. Static-X has taken heavy metal to a whole new level, although not everyone thinks it's good. Evil disco is difficult to describe; it's a mixture of techno, metal, and rap. Regular disco is techno and rap, and the disco becomes "evilized" by adding the metal aspect. Still this album is pretty good. I think that is Static-X sticks together, they could reinvent metal as we know it, but they need time. They haven't been able to take a hold of America's metal fans like Slipknot has, but they have potential to be amazing. In the meantime, check this album out and form your own opinion. "Push It", "I'm With Stupid", "Bled for Days", and "Love Dump". Are the hits on this one.
