The Rules
Well, these are more guidelines to follow than they are rules. Although, punishment will be given to those that decide they want to disobey these guidelines.
1. Although characters that have already been established in the game or TV show are allowed, there should not be duplicates of the same character. For example: We don't need fifteen Jessies. Only one. As well as this rule, I will state that just because you're a special character that comes from the show, this does not mean you get their status right away. Don't come in as Giovanni and expect to boss me around. It won't go over well.
Also, please do not bring non-Pokémon characters into the school. It's happened before, and it just ends up being no fun.
2. Hybrids are allowed, and since I believe that there are people with psychic abilities, and magic, these are also allowed. By magic, I mean spellcasting, and rituals. No powerblasts from peoples' fists just because they're 'superhuman', unless your character is a hybrid and this is what the Pokémon they are merged with has as an attack.
Also, here are a few guidelines if your character is a hybrid:
- They must have a background stating how they became the way they are, whether it was experimentation or they were born that way. And IF they were born the way they were, at least one of their parents has to have been a hybrid.
- Pokémon powers are not to be used recklessly, to destroy, or hurt someone else. Special attacks should be restricted to the Collesseum, while in battle with another hybrid or a Pokémon.
- Although hybrids are fun to play, there should still be a human majority in the student body.
3. Do not kill/attempt to kill another student or team member without their consent or a storyline leading up to the kill first. This is highly forbidden and will result in an unwarned permanent ban.
4. Anyone interested in becoming a professor must make a profile in the Students section, then contact me, whether it is through EZboards or via IM/email, asking to become a teacher, and then your profile will be assessed and if accepted, moved into Administration.
5. NO GODMODING. All Pokémon battles MUST be turn-based and no trainer can godmode their Pokémon, no matter how high a level or what type they are. Don't know what godmoding is? Godmoding, in the Pokémon world, would be constantly dodging attacks, not adhering to the type strengths and weaknesses (ex: Trying to explain that your Squirtle is immune to electric attacks), and playing for your opponent (ex: * Golem uses Take Down on the Arcanine, hitting it and causing it to faint), and last but not least, having an invincible Pokémon. Every Pokémon can lose HP.
Not only is godmoding annoying, it's bad roleplaying. So.. don't do it, okay? Unless you want a ban. :D
