Effect:  You can activate this card when there are 5 or more Monster Cards in your Graveyard.  Take up to 3 Monster Cards (except monsters with effects) with an ATK of 1500 points or less from Graveyard and add them to your hand.
 
 
 
 

Pros
This card is really tough to rate.  It's basically a staple for some decks, but completely useless in others.  It can be used with Painful Choice in Exodia decks to get 3 pieces fast, and it can be used to get back some high defense monsters, such as Aqua Madoor, Giant Soldier of Stone, etc., but that's really all it's good for.

Cons
Backup Soldier is completely useless in beatdowns.  You can't get effect monsters with it, so there really isn't much you can do with it.  It's also pretty pointless in any effect monster based deck.

Combos
Painful Choice + Backup Soldier - get 3 Exodia pieces.
