I love this card. Like Forceful Sentry, you get a sneak peak at your opponent's hand and strategy. However, instead of simply putting the card back into the deck, you get to get rid of it. The 1000 Life Point cost is next to nothing. Card Advantage is better than Life Point advantage the majority of the time. I've seen a lot of decks that use Forceful Sentry and Delinquent Duo, but not this card. I think that's crazy. Confiscation is definitely deck worthy. I've used it, and I love it.

This is probably my least favorite of the 3 hand manipulation cards from Magic Ruler, but it's still a good one.  You get to see what your opponent has, so you can plan around it, and you get to discard a card from their hand.  Since Magician of Faith and Mask of Darkness are becoming more and more a thing of the past, Confiscation has become very effective for getting rid of magic and trap cards permanently.  The cost of 1000 life points may seem a little steep, but it usually isn't a problem.  Usually the card you get rid of would have caused you more than 1000 damage, or at least 1000 life points worth of annoyance.  There really isn't much else to say about this card.  Use it in a hand control deck, try it in other decks if you have room.

Ah HA! Here we go. 1000 life? Pfft. A first turn Confiscation rips your opponent's hand apart. It's very fun to see your opponent cry before they can play anything.
