This card looks like a nice little Jammer at first, but DO NOT USE THIS
CARD JUST FOR THE JAMMER EFFECT. In my opinion, its virtually useless. Yes,
you can fuse it to get the supposedly "all powerful" Last Warrior from another
Planet out, but is that fusion really all that great? This monster is so easy
to kill, chances are that you'd never get the effect. I'd just assume use
Magic Drain. Your opponent will probably play the Magic Card they don't mind
having negated first, or they may just attack this monster.
1.3/5 Use Imperial Order, Magic Jammer, and/or Magic Drain, they work better
and don't have to be summoned.

I must admit that at first I liked this card. A monster that can serve
as a Magic Jammer. It seemed pretty tempting. However, it's one
of those cards that can be a little tough to judge until you use it.
Let's face it. The strongest cards in the game are magic cards.
If you can stop those cards, it can be really helpful. This is where
Maryokutai can be helpful. Keep a Waboku around to stop it from being
attacked to death, and it can save you from something nasty. Magic stoppers
can be really powerful.
The biggest problem I've noticed, however, is that it takes up a summon.
You don't get to summon a good attacking monster. Instead, you just
good this 900/900 weakling, and all your opponent has to do is attack it with
anything decent, and then they can go on with life and play magic cards.
Besides, if it gets Fissured, it didn't do much anyway. Another thing
is that it has to be face-up to get the effect. Imagine if you set your trap
cards face-up. They'd be a LOT less useful. But that's what Maryokutai
does. It just lets your opponent know they can't play a magic card.
Not good, in my opinion. Although it may find a home protecting Tornado
Walls and Umis in a Water deck, it's not very good most of the time.
I'll give it a 2.2/5.
