This card can be pretty worthless, unless you know something about your opponent's deck.  If you know that they run Exodia, prohibit Sangan. If they run a stall deck, you could prohibit cards like Gravity Bind and Waboku.  The nice thing about this card is that it can stop ANY card, unless the card you want to stop is already on the field. Jinzo and Imperial Order can only stop one type of card.

Uses
Prohibition on Prohibition, stop your opponent from playing Prohibition (actually, I don't recommend doing this)
Ground Collaspe x3 plus Prohibit Heavy Storm
Prohibit any good card you know your opponent has....

Stick one or two in your side deck just in case.

Quick note: If you play Prohibition and call Exodia or any of the pieces, that only means your opponent can't summon or set them.  They can still win by getting all five pieces in their hand, because the cards are not being "played."

Pros
A lot of decks can be destroyed easily by a single card.  That's where Prohibition comes in.  It's too bad we didn't have it earlier for Exodia, because up until Magic Ruler came out Card Destruction was the only real threat, and Prohibition could have stopped that from hurting Exodia.  Oh, well.  As I was saying, Prohibition can save your deck from a card that really bugs you.  A good one to use it on is Heavy Storm.  Heavy Storm can really hurt weenie-rush, direct damage, and even beatdowns, and it gets rid of Prohibition.  But if you call Heavy Storm, you've prevented a powerful card and made your Prohibition more safe.

Cons
Prohibition is fairly easily destroyed.  Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm, De-Spell, you can't call all of them.  You only get to stop one card, and a lot of times there's several cards that your opponent can kill you with.  Also, with cards like Jinzo, you may not be ready for it, and your opponent will already have it on the field before you can stop it.  And if you call a monster, your opponent can still play Monster Reborn on that monster, because the monster wouldn't be played (played implies used from your hand).

Combos
There aren't really any combos for this card.  Just use it to protect all your other cards from Heavy Storm, Dark Hole, etc.

It can be helpful, but I'd stick to Magic Jammer, Imperial Order, Solemn Judgment, etc.
