Results of the park survey
The community utilized this survey to promote our input, express our concerns, and direct our elected city officials as to the direction we the citizens wish to continue with the Community Park.
The survey results show our citizens foremost desire Nature Areas, Picnic Areas, Walking/Biking Paths, Canoe/Fishing Lake and Pavilion. These natural amenities are nearly all present on the Community Parks 132 acres, thus the funding necessary to complete the park is minimal. With the help from citizens and volunteers our Community Park could be nearly complete. Let us open the park and welcome the public so that they may feel free to appreciate and enjoy this peaceful sanctuary.
