The Fashion Pages

So I admit it was a time of strange fashions and all that BUT some of us took
it a little TOO far!! Don't you agree?

Now here are two guys who belong on 44th Street and 8th Avenue, pimping out the ladies....hmmm I think they did that for awhile.

Corky Stasiak and Andy Abrams, the fashion plates of RPS

Gray Russell always had his own style and it is still one of his best attributes but most people wouldn't pay for a suit without arms.

I hear he wears overalls these days, in tribute to Presto.

Joe Brescio, Mastering Engineer and Bon Vivant Gentleman at large.

Joe is searching the party for a hot drunken girl he can take back to the Cutting Room and show his lathe to!

Nice Suit Joe!

Now here are two of the intellectuals of RPS, Mike Guthrie and Fred Ridder.

Fred is seen here debating with Mike as to which format will survive longest in audio, Quadraphonic Mixing vs. Binaural Sound Heads.

They both got it wrong!

It really is a shame when fashion goes horribly wrong. Such was the case here as Pete Maiorino (someone help with the spelling here) discusses the importance of checks over stripes with Roy.

Pen's not sure what either of them are talking about, he just knows it's funny.

And you all thought that Marlon Brando invented the Godfather character.

Here we see "Don" Cicala discussing his plans for young Garland Jeffries career.

"I'll make them an offer and I won't refuse them", says the "Don"

He never really got that concept right.

And he is Italian!

If you look really close here you can see where all those super models and actors got their poses from....Shelly Yakus!

Here we can see Shelly using his 'popeye' (I have one eye closed because it's cool) pose as he listens to someone else tell him that the mix needs more bass!

Of course it could be he was just drunk!

Here we can see Sam Ginsberg arguing with the bartender that everyone IS wearing their ties off their collar.

Actually Sam really doesn't care about fashion he just wanted the drinks so he could get his future wife drunk and take her home that night.

Go Sam!

And last but not least, the leader of the RPS fashion movement, the man who was always ahead of the trends...the one the only Paul Prestopino!

You can tell Pen is envious of Paul's obvious good taste in overalls and bow ties.
