Art

Here's random stuff I've worked on. Some of the art is mine, while others are stuff I colored for friends as PhotoShop practice. Newest images will be posted at the top, or until I have a better way of sorting this page.

RBO Male Mage - This was my first attempt at coloring using Photoshop. First off I'd like to point out that this was not drawn me, but my friend Ezzarian. He did quite a few Ragnarok Battle Offline(RBO) drawings. RBO is a fast paced side-scrolling game based on Ragnaok Online. It takes a long time to color images with Photoshop, but I enjoy it. The browns are a bit dull, but thats the colors in the game.

RBO Male Acolyte - Second RBO drawing from Ezzarian. I think this is one of my favorites that I colored. The colors are just perfect. I used to big a brush for outlining the hair. I switched back to a smaller one for the rest of the body.

RBO Male Merchant - Again, anoother RBO drawing by Ezz, coloured by me. This one was a bit hard to do. My references weren't too great, so a lot of it was guesswork. I don't like how the hair turned out, looks like an Afro to me...

RBO Sky Petite - Gasp !! An RBO drawing not by Ezzarian? This one was made by Angevon. I tried a new thing in coloring it. I tried to blend the belly and the side together using the blurr tool. I like how it turned out. The wing is a bit messed up, and some of the horns could have looked better.

RBO Female Merchant - Back to Ezz's drawing. I liked doing this one the most, since I could atually use color, unlike the boring drab browns in the other pictures I coloured for him. The design on the dress was a bit difficult, I had to keep switching the brush size to make it look right. I coloured it as a cross between the RBO merchant and the RO official art.

Anime-style Girl - Well, this was my first attempt at drawing anything anime-related, or drawing anything for that matter... I know there are some imperfections, but hey, practice makes perfect, right? The arm is a bit small, and the neck too long. Friends are telling me to redraw it. I might if I get a chance...

I drew it from a picture I found on the web, don't ask me where she came from, cause I have no clue.

Hughes - In my opinion the best character in the Full Metal Alchemst series. Again, not perfect, in fact pretty far from it. This is more free hand like than my first one. Eyes are a bit crooked, the head is way too long, and the body looks squished. I self criticize too much...

Magey Guy - A rough drawing I did in my College Algebra class. As you can see it was drawn on my notebook paper. I tried to get the whole Black Mage from Final Fantasy look with the facelessness. It didn't work too well... And the energy ball just looks horible. Maybe I should have been paying more attention to Logarithms instead of drawing...

Santa Poring - I did this for Christmas 2005, but I kept putting it off, and finally drew it like the day after Christmas. Well, one day for me, but some friends say its two days late. Damn time differences... Not much to say, just a really rough sketch. The Poring is supposed to be looting the Jellopy thats shining. I should have used Photoshop to color it instead of Crayons, but o well. Doesn't help that my scanner isn't the best...

RO Swordgirl Just a quick drawing I did when there was a fierce storm, and I didn't want to chance using the computer. I get frequent power outages and I don't want my Hard Drive to get fried. The eyes aren't too good. I made her hands behind her so I don't have to show how bad I am at drawing them. The neck is also a bit messed up.

Anime-Style Guy - Basically I drew this in attempt to actually do decent hair. I think it turned out well. The eyes on the paper original look better. I blame my scanner why they look too faded. The clothes aren't too good. I think that will be my next improvement: I'll try to add more detail to clothes. The tie is just horrible...

Overall I think I'm getting better at drawing. Still not perfect, but getting there... I think I should try and draw a bit more then I have recently. Considering its not like I don't have time... But I'm a lazy bastard so only time will tell.

Anime-Style Girl CG - This was my first attempt at anime style CG, and I decided to do my first anime style picture too. It took forever to do, but I think it turned out well. The eyes were the hardest part, and I still don't really like them. The outlining is a bit messed up in some places as well.

Laguna LoireLaguna Loire from Final Fantasy VIII. Drew it last night in an insomnia attack. It doesn't really look like he's holding on to the gun... Overall he looks a bit too husky. And another case of flat hair...

I tried colouring it, but it looked pretty bad, so I'll just post the rough.
