SERENITY. Yes, you can still get the old feel of Naval. That is, if you willfully distance a bit from the downtown crowd and bustle and go into some quiet place such as the wharf. This digital photograph, taken around 8:30 a.m. on October 4, shows essentially the same scenic northern sights familiar to Navalians, including Mt. Panamao in the distance. Of course, there are changes, such as the bus terminal on the right, which was a squatters' colony until the 1970s.
