Biliran Postcards

The Provincial Government of Biliran, through the Biliran Provincial Tourism Council, had issued a set of seven postcards under "Beauty of Biliran" series. The postcards feature a landmark and six nature sights around Biliran Province. They are shown below.

The labels (in boldface) were copied from the back of the postcards. The descriptions were taken from available literature about Biliran tourism.

IYUSAN RICE TERRACES / Almeria, Biliran Province / 6544 Philippines. The rice terraces in Barangay Iyusan, Almeria, remind the viewer of the famous Banaue rice terraces in Mountain Province, north of Luzon Island. Similar rice terraces can be seen in other areas of Biliran Province.

TIGBAW FALLS / Biliran, Biliran Province / 6549 Philippines. This newly discovered tourist destination can be reached within 15 minutes of hiking from Sitio Tigbaw, Barangay Julita of Biliran town. The path towards this falls is lush with tropical vegetation.

CASIAWAN FALLS / Cabucgayan, Biliran Province / 6550 Philippines. This falls is located in Barangay Casiawan of Cabucgayan town. It can be reached in five minutes of hiking from the Casiawan Primary School, from where one can already hear the rush of falling water. The water falls down a vertical cliff some 40 meters to a deep natural pool.
