The hottest issues in town are the proposal to amend the Constitution and the midterm elections -- Philippine version. These issues are relevant and important as the future of our country and people would largely depend on the outcome of these political exercises. The arguments should focus on issues not personality oriented, and please no below the belt accusation. Remember there are two issues proposed for discussion: (i) Constitutional change; and (ii) Philippine version's midterm elections. Good luck!

1) I go for Constitutional Convention where the Delegates are directly chosen by the People and only for this particular purpose. When drafting, amending or revising the Constitution the framers should be forward looking anticipating things that will happen in the future. This way, the Constitution may be able withstand the test of time.

2) I propose that the administration and opposition clearly define the platform of government which they will present to the electorate collectively. The platform of government shall be the guiding light when elected into office. The voters should then decide and elect based on the platform of government presented to them, i.e., that they believe fits their purpose consistent with the interest that they represent. DO NOT VOTE FOR POPULAR FIGURES WITHOUT a clear platform of government after all this is not a popularity contest. We are deciding the future of our Country.

Latest survey conducted by Pulse Asia shows that the opposition dominating and lording it over the administration candidates if elections where held today. Could this be a sign of Democrat Sweep -- Philippine version?

Whatever prognosis may be, having elections is a healthy sign for democracy and with it is an assurance that we are moving forward. It is better than not having an exercise at all which latter premise, as we all know, results in unhealthy lifestyle. It creates a dangerous scenario which all of us might live to regret. We need to make a choice intelligently.

This is a make or break proposition. I am not sure if it is worth it. I sense grave danger, I pray that it will be resolved logically, reasonably and peacefully.

The gung-ho attitude of the House of Representatives had been quashed by the outrage of the People. Congressmen retreated and are now squeaking their way out from the quagmire which they themselves created. What a funny script that is… few months ago what the fictitious people’s initiative viewed by the Supreme Court a fraudulent and grand deception of the people. Yesterday was Con-Ass perpetrated under cover of darkness when the citizenry where asleep. While today its Con-con yet the Church say the instigators and promoters simply missed the point. The people don’t trust them anymore. What then is next? ULAP says it can gather signature anew in five days. Whew what is this……

I can't believe that Garcillano a.k.a "Hello Garci" is running for Congress in the First District of Bukidnon. This is a big insult to the People of the Bukidnon. The present leadership should not allow this to happen.

Unga pa man? Self-denial lang gihapon? Ayaw... kay madaut ta ana.

I am proud of the seeming maturity of our electorate. Kinahanglan mag padayon sa pag uswag ang pang huna huna sa katawhan.

Mabuhay kamo haring lungsoranon!!!

Revolution through the ballot! What else? About time politicians give due recognition to the awesome power of the electorate. Perform and be a true public servant or else you shall be fairly judged when you return to your respective constituencies three (3) years from now.
