Good morning, Mr. Phelps. The two mwn you're lookingat are Edward
Trask and Frank Mason. Mason has recently been given control of the Syndicate's
illegal betting parlors. He has modernized the operations with computerized tote
boards and put tie lines between his parlors in cities all over the country. Trask
has been assigned the job of removing the competition in these cities, which he is doing
without regard for life or property. Conventional law enforcement agencies have been
unable to gather sufficient evidence for the arrest of these men. Your mission, Jim,
should you decide to accept it, is to break up this deadly alliance and thus prevent
millions of dollars from being funneled into Syndicate coffers. This tape will
self-destruct in five seconds. Good luck, Jim.
