Super Chocolate Fudge
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk
1 and a quarter cups icing sugar
Pinch of salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
half a cup chopped nuts(optional)
In a heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chocolate chips with condensed milk. Remove from heat; stir in remaining ingredients. Spread evenly in wax paper-lined 8-inch square pan. Chill 2 to 3 hour or until firm. Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off paper;* cut into squares. Store loosely covered at room temperature. Makes about 2 pounds.
Microwave: in 2-quart glass measuring cup, combine chocolate chips with condensed milk. Microwave, uncovered uncovered on full power for 2 minutes. Stir until chips melt and mixture is smooth. Stir in remaining ingredients. Proceed as above.
*Fudge may be well wrapped and frozen for up to six weeks. Thaw at room temperature before cutting.
Puppy Chow
1 box of Shreddies
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 cup peanut butter
2 cups icing sugar
half a cup butter
Melt butter, chocolate chips, and peanut butter together. Pour over Shreddies in a painl and shake until mixed. Add icing sugar and shake until covered. Enjoy!
