The Sunny South! ...God is amazing! I cannot even begin to comprehend what He has been doing the past few months. I arrrived in Orlando, FL at the end of September and I have been enjoying, relaxing and getting a nice tan!! Well, wouldn't that be nice eh? (There is still a little Canadian left in me!) I am currently taking the Discipleship training School (DTS) with Youth With A Mission (YWAM). Over the past eleven weeks, we have had several different teachers speak on various subjects. God has been revealing His character to me, and it astounds me at how much He loves me "one-of-a-kind" and that I am fearfully and wonderfully made. It has been a constant learning experience and growing time in my life. I am so excited about what He is going to do with me in the near future!!. |
Outreach!! January 7 to Feburuary 20, 2003 I will have the opportunity to go on a outreach with my team of 14 people to Thailand. " The kingdom Of Thailand" is located in Southern Asia and has a population of approximatly 60 million. Thailand is predominately a Buddhist nation with over 93 percent proffessing to be Buddhist and only 1 percent to be Christian.
We are currently establishing opportunities to go to 3 locations across Thailand. We will be working along side long term missionaries assisting them in their ministry, teaching English, and doing different types of evangelism. Our goal is to serve the Thai church and share the gospel of Jesus Christ with those who are longing to hear.
