Welcome to our quick trip to Paradise Island.  The water is turquoise and clear.  The people warm and friendly.  My only dissappointment was the weather and how long we were able to stay.  I would have loved to been there much longer.  Maybe next time!
Monday, Doug and I head off into the town of Nassau.  The bus system is great.  For $1. each we get picked up and taken into town and dropped off whereever we want to go.  This is the Straw Market and there are hundreds of booths where people sell their wares.  Here is a group of merchants singing Praise songs to the Lord.  It was like going shopping and having church all at the same place.
Sandals Hotel Sunday Evening November 30, 2003.  This is the first night.  We arrived late in the afternoon after 15 hours of travel.  We have gone for dinner at the Italian rest. and now we are just touring around the resort.  This is the entrance to the hotel.  What a perfect picture!
Streets of Nassau.
Balcony House

In the midst of bustling 20th century city, step back in time & we discovered an 18th century architectural gem. This historic landmark is the oldest wooden residential structure in Nassau; now fully restored as a museum.

Market Street off Bay Street.
Nassau's harbour alone can accommodate up to six cruise ships!
