Slam Dunk is about a high school basketball team in a school named Shohoku High. It's been a long time since their team won the national championship, and suddenly this will all change. When Hanamichi Sakuragi, a desperate and hot-headed punk joins the team, together with the famous Kaede Rukawa, the Shohoku team got a big boost and started winning their games. But it is not all just a walk in the park, with Sakuragi jealous of Rukawa's basketball skills, creates a racket and oftentimes this affects his gameplay. Also, with the return of two of the most skilled national players, Mitsui and Ryota, Shohoku becomes a force to reckon with a they dream of winning the championshios once again.
