Great Teacher Onizuka or GTO for short is a story about a perverted high school teacher who finds a job in a well known and respectable school. But since he wasn't really an honor student himself, he teaches his class in his own funny way. He gets assigned to teach Homeroom to a notorious section, and finds himself being bullied by his students. But being a former motor gang member, he doesn't get afraid but turns out winning the trust and friendship of some of his students. Now and then there would be occasional mayhem concerning Onizuka but he always manages to get out of it and continue his lifelong dream of becoming a teacher. GTO shows the typical life of a Japanese high school student, oftentimes pressured by their own parents to perform well in school, some resort to bullying and sometimes suicide just to escape thei problems at home. With every episode, you'll surely be laughing at the misadventures of Onizuka.
