Moving, historic and great. This is how I would describe Saving Private Ryan. The story takes place during the Allied invasion of Europe, specifically D-Day. A huge fleet of american soldiers enter enemy territory and try to capture and defeat the defense forces on the beach. Almost half of the men die even before stepping on solid ground. Once they got hold of the enemy base, the group of an army commander played by Tom Hanks and his men were tasked to rescue a soldier named Private Ryan. This is where the real mission starts, outnumbered and in unfamiliar territory they set out to complete their mission. On the way, they encounter enemy soldiers and tanks. In the end, they found their target and then returned to base. But during their return, they were in for the greatest fight of their lives. Some of them died, while the commander became deaf. If you love to watch war movies, I recommend this to you.
