A girl, no more then 15 years old, found herself in the middle of what look like a road. To her right, she saw a car that had been flipped over. Shattered glass, that had most likely had been from the car's broken windows, was scattered across the ground around her.
'Where am I.'
The smell of ashes and burnt rubber wafted through the air, intoxicating it with a foul stench that burn the girl's eyes and noise. Small fires of red and orange could be seen around where the accident had taken place.
"Mom, Dad, where are you?" the girl's unheard plea to her parents was then muted by the loud booms and crashes that came from an unknown force in the sky.
'Is this real?'
"Mom....Dad?!" the girl's finally cry was interrupted by a blinding bright light, which engulfed not only the girl, but also the area around her. As the white energy came upon her, she let out an ear splitting scream...

"Ahh!" screamed Mia Koji as she bolted straight up in her bed, as the memories of the dream she had just encounter began to drift away back into the shadows.
"A dream...it was just a dream..." she panted as cold sweat dripped down her back.
It had been a little over a year since the Ronin Warriors, five young men who had save the world more then once from darkness, moved out of the Koji Manor so they could go on with their lives. The parting had been painful for all, including Mia and their young friend Yulie. However, the battles were over and it was time to move on. But at that moment she almost wished that they still lived there. Just to know that she wasn't alone in her large home with her fears.
'Why?' she thought 'Why? After so long, why am I having this dream again?' This had not been the first time she was plagued by these dreams. The first time was over eight years ago when she first came to live with her grandfather, after the death of her parents. At the time, doctors had said that the dreams had been suppressed memories of the accident that had taken the lives of Mia's parents, and that they would eventually go away at their own time, which they had.
"But why now? Why....why am I having these...nightmares again?" Mia whispered out loud as she pulled her knees up to her chest, and wrap her arms around her legs. Sighing, she rested her face on top of them, as tears silently fell from her face. These were not tears of fear or sadness though; these were tears of the frustration she had been experiencing. Due to the lack of sleep, and now the forgotten pain that the dream had brought on. Her tears were forced to surface. Mia's thoughts drifted back to the dream. Oddly enough, she did not have very many memories of the accident. Some had said that the cause of the accident was due to lighting striking the middle of the road, and forcing the family car to flip over. But to lack of evidence, and Mia's lost memories, that theory was never proven. A sharp pain went through Mia's mind as she tried to recollect the dream, but the pain had been too annoying to let her thoughts flow willingly. She eventually gave in to the pain, and stoped her struggle for remembrance. Then suddenly, Mia felt something cold and wet touch her arm. At the feel of this contact, she gave a small yelp and jump back from whatever had touch her. As her heart raced in her chest, she look over her bed to see a pair of familiar brown eyes.
"Oh White Blaze...its just you," she sighed to the large white tiger, who was now looking at her with confused, and yet with worried eyes. Smiling, she reach out to pet the feline, who had no doubt had only come into her room only after hearing her scream. "I'm sorry for screaming at you White Blaze. You just surprised me that's all,"
White Blaze just nuzzled into her hand, to show his affection and concern for her. Still smiling a warm and grateful smile at the tiger, she bent down to give him a small kiss on the top of his head.
"Its all right now White Blaze, I'm fine, no need to worry," she said while stroking his head "I'm going back to sleep now...okay?"
White Blaze looked up, and gave her an understanding nod as Mia started to settle back into her bed. She laid her head down on her pillow just as she heard White Blaze's foot steps. He walked around her queen size bed and laid himself down on the other side. Hearing this, Mia silently thanked the tiger as she closed her eyes to start her second attempt at sleep.
White Blaze. The large battle cat of the Ronin Warriors who was obviously smarter then the average feline, was currently a house hold guest at the Koji Manor. This was all because of White Blaze's owner Ryo. The bearer of the Wildfire and Inferno amours, who had rented an apartment in Tokyo that unfortunately didn't allow pets. Mia had volunteered to keep an eye on White Blaze and make sure that he had some place to stay, so that Ryo didn't have to worry. Normally White Blaze didn't often come inside the house unless he was either very hungry, or if the weather outside had been really bad. But he had a sixth sense of knowing when Mia was sad or upset about something, and thus he would come to comfort her when she needed it.
The fear of her dream returning once again lingered in her mind as the exhaustion she felt finally took over. Mia closed her eyes and fell into a hopefully dreamless sleep.

A figure stood under a glowing moon, as the shadows of the night twisted and merge into ghastly forms. Distant sounds of crickets and owls cried out into the night, singing their songs to the darkness of the sky. The figure stood, watching the pale ball of light that hung by invisible stings. He gazed often shifted to the moonlit ground, staring at the hollow shadows painted to the earth.
"So beautiful," whispered the figure to the night "So beautiful...yet so wasted..."
As silent as the stars above, the figure disappeared into the shadows as the moon still glowed in the sky.
