Storm of Angels
Chapter 2

Jade jumped down from the tall tree from where she was standing. She landed noiselessly even on the dry leaves. The weather was turning colder. Autumn was coming to the city of Toyama. Already the leaves were starting to turn colors. The winds blew suddenly, causing the leaves to rustle noisily. Jade shielded her face as the winds blew her hair and leaves fell around her. She held out her hand to snatch a falling leave. It was rimmed with yellow and red. "Now what should I do?" Jade wondered as the winds whipped past her.

Sage was leading the silent Kaylee back towards the house. Hopefully when the girl had some hot food in her, she'd snapped out the dazed she was in. {It's only a dream...} Kaylee chanted in her mind, trying to convince herself that it was so. She bit her lip as she recalled the dream she had last night.

The two reached the house and Sage opened the door for Kaylee.

"Good morning!" Mia called out cheerfully as she saw the two enter the house. She was sitting in the living room, watching the morning news as the sounds of cooking drifted from the kitchen. Cye's angry voice was yelling "Kento, help me for real or get out!" alerted Kaylee to the fact that breakfast was almost done. Her stomach chose to remind her of its need and she snapped out of her thoughts.

"Morning." Rowen greeted as he set the tables. "You need to get washed up for breakfast?"

"Yeah I do." Kaylee nodded and went upstairs to brush her teeth and wash her face. She finished quickly and was about to come downstairs when she saw Ryo knocking on Jade's door.

"Jade! Breakfast!" Ryo called loudly, knocking harder. "Hey Jade!"

"Coming!" Jade's voice answered back quickly. The door swung open to reveal Jade.

"What took you so long?" asked Ryo.

"Did I hear something about breakfast?" Jade asked hastily.

"Yes." Kaylee replied, noticing Jade was slightly out of breath.

"Great!" Jade forced a smile. "Let's go eat!" She dashed down the stairs towards the kitchen with Ryo following her.

"Wow, sometimes you're exactly like Kento!" laughed Ryo. Kaylee smiled and walked behind them. A cool breeze ruffled her hair. She turned to see Jade's bedroom window wide open and the curtains blowing.

The group settled down for their morning meal.

"Would you like some coffee?" asked Mia, passing the large pot around. "Yes, please." Kaylee let Mia pour her a cup. She mixed in sugar, cream and milk before taking a sip.

"What should we do today?" asked Jade.

"I say we go to a book store!" said Rowen.

"I second that!" said Jade, raising her hand in the air.

"I third it!" said Mia, doing the same.

"I veto it!" said Kento quickly. "Let's go to a mall!" Kento and the other three began a contest of wills to see who gets to choose.

"How about a movie instead?" suggested Cye, trying to end the argument before it began...

"A movie?" asked Kaylee. She didn't go to the movies that often since she considered them a waste of time when she could be training or researching.

"What movie?" Sage asked. There wasn't anything he thought was worth seeing.

"I still want to go to a mall." Kento argued.

"Book store!" said Rowen with Jade and Mia backing him up.

"Mall!" said Kento.

"Movie!" said Cye. Kaylee watched the debate continue. It was time to step in.

"Excuse me?" Kaylee interrupted the group. "I've got a suggestion. What if we go to Habutaki Mall?"

"Yeah!" said Kento. "It's much better than some book store!"

"Let me finish, please." Kaylee shot Kento a look. "We can see a movie there and visit the mall as well." Rowen, Jade, and Mia were about to protest, "and malls have book stores." Kaylee added.

"That's a good idea." said Sage admiringly. Kaylee was a good negotiator.

"I'm ok with seeing a movie then." said Mia. "Which one?"

"Ooh!" Jade sat up excitedly. "Lord of the Rings came out in Japan!"

"No..." groaned Kento. "That's based on a book, isn't it?"

"Oh c'mon. Just go and see it! It's good!"

"It's three and a half hours long!" whined Kento. "I'm not sitting in a movie theater for that long!"

"I'll treat you to the movie ticket and food." said Jade slyly. Kento thought about it. "Please?" wheedled Jade. "Pretty please?"

"Ok!" said Kento quickly. Jade facevaulted. "I was just teasing you to see how desperate you were." Kento laughed. Jade picked up her chopstick and threatened to throw it.

"Please don't throw the chopsticks." said Mia in a motherish tone of voice.

"Yes, Mia." said Jade in a submissive tone before breaking out into a grin.

"Is Lord of the Rings ok with everyone?" asked Mia. Everyone nodded.

~~~Habutaki mall~~~
"Look at the long lines." Kaylee remarked as the group lined up to purchase their tickets.
"We're up." Mia said. The group followed her to the ticket counter. "Eight for Lord of the Rings." The seller printed out their tickets and the group moved into the main theaters.
"Alright, you promised." Kento grabbed Jade's hand and proceeded to pull Jade towards the concessions.
"Ok I know..." Jade rolled her eyes.
"Do you guys want anything?" Mia asked the remainder.
"Yeah." Rowen replied. Mia and the others got in line behind Kento and Jade. Kento placed his order and Jade placed hers but Ryo paid for all three of them despite Jade's protests. The three got their food and waited for the others to do the same. Rowen and Cye offered to pay for Kaylee. Sage and Kento bought for Mia.
The previews were over just as soon as the group settled into their seats.
"Ok...this should last me." said Kento, hugging his extra large popcorn and placing the large drink in the cup holder.
"Good." Jade said quietly. "Now watch and enjoy the movie."
"Enjoy the movie she says. Yeah right." mumbled Kento.
The group watched the beginning cast credits play on the screen. Soon the entire group was engrossed with the story created by J. R. Tolkien. When the hobbits made it to Rivendell, they were awed by the beauty of the elven lands.
"It's so pretty..." murmured Mia.
"Just imagine Earth actually looking like that..." Sage nodded.
"This is pretty good." Kaylee heard Ryo whisper to Jade.
"Legolas!" Jade bounced in her seat excitedly as the elf archer appeared on the screen.
"Shh!" Kento hissed angrily. "I'm watching here!" Kaylee smiled slightly as Rowen offered her some of his food.
"It seems Kento likes this movie after all." Kaylee said to Rowen, taking some of his candy.
"Yeah, I'm shocked." said Rowen, glancing at Kento. "I don't think he's blinked this whole time."
The group watched the Fellowship of the Ring form and they traveled onwards Mount Doom. When Gandalf the Grey fell, Kaylee was surprised to see Mia and Jade crying.
"He shouldn't die!" hissed Kento angrily. "That guy knew cool magic!"
When the Fellowship battled with the Orcs, Kaylee was amused to note that Kento was cheering on the Fellowship. When the movie finally ended and the screen turned black, a shout of dismay came from Kento as the end credits rolled upwards.
"That's it?" screeched Kento. "There's more right?" Kento turned to look at the others. "Right?"
"Yes, Kento, there is." answered Kaylee. "It's a trilogy. This was only the first book. There's two more."
"Really?" Kento stood up. "Let's go find a book store!" The group stared dumbfound at Kento. Cye hit the side of his head a few times.
"Excuse me, I must be having hearing problems or something." said Cye. "Did I just hear Kento say 'let's go find a bookstore'?"
"Let's go now!" said Kento firmly. He grabbed Jade's hand. "You know where the book stores are in this place, right?"
"Yeah..." Jade said, a bit scared.
"Cool!" Kento dragged Jade down the aisles and towards the closest exit.
"Kento!" Jade cried as the two left the others behind.
"Wait for us!" Rowen shouted as the group ran after them.
~~~Koji residence~~~

Kento, the proud owner of J. R. Tolkien's Lord Of The Ring trilogy set and The Hobbit sat reading in his own room. The group had made purchases too. Rowen had purchased some books on aerosciences, Sage bought a book on mediation techniques, Ryo had bought a few magazines among other things, Cye bought a book on marine life around the world, Mia had bought a computer science magazine, and Jade had bought a Lord Of The Ring movie guide so she could stare at Legolas, and Kaylee had bought a book on hacking.

"What'd you buy?" Mia asked Ryo who was going upstairs with his magazines.

"Just some stuff." said Ryo vaguely.

"You have problems." said Cye as he watched Jade stare at the large photograph of Orlando Bloom.

"Uh huh." replied Jade distracted.

"Don't bother her." Kaylee said from her seat across from Jade. "She's off in her own world now."

"Uh huh." said Jade.

"She's always off in her own world." said Rowen loudly.

"Uh huh." said Jade.

"You're hopeless." Rowen shook his head.

"Uh huh." Jade replied.

Upstairs, Ryo tossed three magazine on Sage's bed.

"For you." Ryo said. Sage looked up from his book on mediation. He reached for his wallet and paid Ryo back.

"Thanks." Sage said, taking the magazines. He glanced at the titles. Teen. Cosmopolitan. CosmoGirl. Sage grinned as he hid them under his bed and resumed reading his book.

Ryo came back downstairs to see Rowen teasing Jade, trying to get her to say something else but "uh huh."

"That looks fun." Ryo said as he joined in. Kaylee watched Rowen snap his fingers by Jade's ears to make her jump.

"You two, let her read." Mia said.

"You call that reading?' asked Kaylee. "She hasn't turned the page for ten minutes!"

"Yeah, Kaylee's on our side." Rowen grinned at her. Kaylee smiled back.

"Ok, I know I'm going to regret this later when she kicks me in the shins but...yoink!" Rowen snatched the large book out of Jade's hands and ran upstairs with it.

"You are so dead, Hashiba!" Jade cried as she gave chase. Kaylee guessed the two must had ran inside Kento's bedroom since Kento yelled at them for disturbing him.

"Get out! I'm reading here! Frodo's starting on his trip now!" Kento shouted, his voice traveling through the house. Everyone sweatdropped when they heard a loud crash.

"Shi ne!" Jade shouted loudly and another crash followed her declaration. Kaylee gave Mia a worried look.

"He'll be ok." Mia reassured her. "Ryo."

"Yeah?" Ryo said.

"Go save Rowen before Jade kills him."

"Ok." Ryo got up. Kaylee did too.

"You might need back-up." Kaylee explained.

Kaylee and Ryo went upstairs to see Rowen sprawled on the floor. He had tripped over a book bag in Kento's room as he was running out and he accidentally fell. "Hey." Ryo said as he walked up to him.

"Ugh..." Rowen groaned, sitting up and rubbing his head.

"Are you ok?" Kaylee asked.

"Hold on." Rowen felt his head. "No new bumps...I'm ok." Rowen got up. "Thanks for worrying, Kento!" Rowen said sarcastically at Kento. Kento had never lifted his head after he had yelled at them at first.

"You're welcome." replied Kento, still not looking up.

"Good." Kaylee said tiredly. The three hour plus long movie had worn her out. That along with her bad dreams last night made her feel dead tired on her feet. "I'm going to take a nap now."

"Ok." Rowen said. "Have a good nap." Rowen said but the door to Kaylee's had closed and locked. "Where's Jade?"

"I dunno." answered Kento, not looking up.

~~~Kaylee's room~~~
Kaylee didn't answer as she returned to her room and locked the door before falling on the bed. Kaylee let out a huge sigh as she snuggled against the soft pillows. She closed her eyes and tried to sleep. She opened her eyes once more. "Curtains..." Kaylee got up and closed the curtains, blocking out the sunlight. It was in the late afternoon. She got back in her bed and closed her eyes, falling asleep almost immediately.
[{This is a dream. I know it.} Kaylee could see Sage of Halo in the dream with her.
"Kaylee." said Sage of Halo. "You can trust us."
"What are you doing in here...this is a dream! My dream!"
"This is a dream?" Sage of Halo asked, worried. "No, this is real."
"Get out of my dream Sage!" Kaylee looked at the battlefield around her...with the nine armors standing now. Sage of Halo looked straight at her. "You're keeping me here."
"No I'm not! I have nothing to do with this!" Kaylee gestured at the battlefield.
"You have a bigger part in this than you think." Sage of Halo said. A strange light lit up the skies. "You have a much bigger part than you think...and even..." A sword appeared in his chest and Sage of Hal fell without another word. As soon as he hit the ground, the Halo armor went empty and fell into broken pieces.
"NOOOOOO SAGEEEE!!" Kaylee cried out in anguish. "THIS ISN'T RIGHT...THIS CAN'T BE THEIR DESTINY!"
The strange light grew larger and solidified into a indigo sphere.
"Destiny. Your path has been chosen."
"NO...GET AWAY FROM ME!" Kaylee tried to shoo the orb away, "I DON'T WANT YOU!" The ball shrank in size and appeared in Kaylee's hand.
"It is your Destiny, Can you bear it?"
"Please...no..." Kaylee pleaded with tears in her eyes.
"Your path is easier than many who've traveled the same way before you... and even after you."
"Who are you...you can't be the Ancient...the Ancient is dead!" Kaylee said looking around "Easier he says. He must be joking."
"Follow your destined path..." the voice trailed off, leaving Kaylee to herself.]
Kaylee woke up and realized she was sweating. "Just a dream... Just a dream." she chanted to herself over and over again to try to calm herself.
~~~Sage's room~~~

"So there you are." Ryo said as he entered Sage's room. "Why are you here?"

"Because." Jade replied, sitting on Rowen's bed with her legs crossed and staring at that one page again.

"Ok." Ryo shrugged.

"Because she's sick of being bothered by Rowen and you." answered Sage.

"Hey Sage." Jade said, not looking up.

"What?"

"Let me borrow Cosmopolitan when you're done with it." Jade said. Sage facevaulted and nearly fell off the bed. Ryo walked in, curious of how Sage would answer.

"I don't read Cosmopolitan!" Sage denied.

"Then why's it sticking out from under your bed with Teen and Cosmogirl?" Jade finally looked up.

"Yeah, why is it?" teased Ryo.

"Um...research?" Sage said.

"Fine, you don't have to let me read it. I'll get Ryo to buy it for me. Like he does for you." Jade smirked.

"Wh-what?" Ryo stuttered.

"I saw the receipt." Jade said, laughing. "If you guys were so interested in 'reading' girl magazines, I could lend you my copies..."

"Sage!" Mia peeked into Sage's room. "Time to start dinner!"

"All right, Mia." Sage got off his bed. "I'm going."

"What's for dinner?" asked Jade.

"I don't know." Sage said. "What do you guys feel like having?"

"Doesn't mater." shrugged Ryo.

"I'll help you cook!"" Jade declared, getting up with her book.

"Me too!" Kento said as he came in.

"Everyone run! Kento's raiding the kitchen again!" Ryo kidded.

"That's not nice." Jade said, giving Ryo a disapproving look.

"And he's got a partner in crime this time too!" Ryo teased. Jade ignored him as she followed Sage and Kento down to the kitchen.

~~~Kaylee's room~~~
Kaylee couldn't fall back asleep after suffering through that dream. She sighed, growling quietly. Her quiet rest was disturbed before it could even help her. Kaylee didn't want to admit she was scared beyond belief. Seeing Sage die so realistically in her nightmare made her shudder violently.
"Can I tell him about my dreams?" wondered Kaylee. "But what can I say?"
Kaylee turned on her side and stared at the window. {Why me? I didn't want this! I can't believe that what I just dreamt! It's so stupid! It doesn't make sense!}
A knock on the door made Kaylee get up to open the door. Rowen stood outside, smiling. His smile dropped when he noticed how tired Kaylee looked.
"Rowen." Kaylee said. Rowen backed up a step.
"I'm sorry. Did I wake you?" Rowen asked, concerned. Kaylee's clothes were slightly rumpled, her long hair a bit messy and her and her dim blue eyes revealed to Rowen that Kaylee was not feeling as well as she made them believe she was.
"No...I was already up." Kaylee admitted.
"Researching?" Rowen asked, intrigued. Maybe Kaylee had found out something more relevant to that mysterious armor.
"Sort of..." Kaylee guessed those dreams could have been a type of research.
"Was it interesting?" asked Rowen, stepping into the room.
"Yeah, you can say that." Kaylee started to straighten out her bed. Rowen nodded knowingly as he helped her.
Kaylee walked out with Rowen and they went downstairs together. Kaylee saw that the others looking at them. Cye was doing his homework in the front room with Mia and Ryo.
"Do you have a problem or something?" Kaylee could hear loud music and singing coming from the kitchen. Cye shook his head. "What's going on?" Kaylee asked.
"Dinner." Cye answered.
Kaylee walked into the kitchen with Rowen. Jade was making dinner with Sage. Kento was "helping." The meal was almost done and Kaylee stopped in the door way to watch the comedic scene. Jade was in the middle of serenading Kento, singing along to one of her mix tapes she brought from her car.
"La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la."
Jade sang along, dancing in front of Kento. Kento was grinning widely, totally into the performance Jade was giving him. It was working so well, Kento wasn't even looking at the cooking Sage.
"I just can't get you out of my head
Boy your lovin' is all I think about
I just can't get you out of my head
Boy it's more than I dare to think about"
"What are you doing?" Kaylee had to shout to be heard over the music. Rowen grinned, tapping his foot to the beat.
"She's keeping Kento out of my hair." Sage explained looking up, standing in of the hot stove.
"And what nice gelled up hair Sage has..." Rowen quipped from behind Kaylee. He watched Kento as Jade danced in front of him, swinging her hips exotically. Ryo walked in since he saw Rowen and Kayla crowded around the kitchen door.
"Every night...Every day...Just to be there in your arms..."
Jade turned to see the others. She blushed, faltered at the sight of the new audience and stopped singing but Kento picked up, his voice sounding unnaturally good singing along with the high voice of the female artist.
"Won't you stay....Won't you lay...Stay for ever and ever and ever and ever..."
Kento took Jade's hands and pulled her towards him to make her dance with him in the large kitchen. Jade nodded and resumed singing along with Kento. Ryo watched Jade with Kento quietly. Rowen turned to Kaylee.
"Do you care to dance?" Rowen asked.
"Um..." Kaylee didn't know how to dance that well but had no choice when Rowen pulled her along with him.
"I'm trying to cook here!" Sage shouted over the music and singing.
"I just can't get you out of my head
Boy your lovin' is all I think about
I just can't get you out of my head
Boy it's more than I dare to think about..."
Jade and Kento sang together. Kaylee had to laugh at the silliness everyone was exhibiting. Their behavior was completing overshadowing the nightmares she had woken up from just minutes before. Kento and Jade danced behind them. Rowen took her by the hand and the couple moved to the song. Sage watched the four dancers and sighed.
"Dinner is ready!" Sage had to announce. Kento let Jade go and went to help Sage with the food. Kento saw Ryo watching the merriment from the door. Kento pulled Ryo's towards him and pushed him forward.
"Take my place!" Kento said to Ryo as he clapped him on the back. Ryo walked forward to Jade who stood around unsurely.
"What are you waiting for?" asked Rowen. He winked at the two. Ryo rolled his eyes at his obvious hinting. Kaylee shook her head at Rowen and Rowen gave her an innocent look. Rowen pulled her closer to him. Rowen joined in and Kaylee watched the blue haired boy sing, completely enjoying himself. Their bodies were close, moving to the song. Kaylee felt her heart beat faster as Rowen moved closer to her and she hoped it was from the dancing. Rowen placed his arms around her waist and the two ignored the others as they danced.
"There's a dark...Secret in me...Don't leave me locked in your heart..."
Kaylee gasped involuntarily as she heard the lyrics. What was this feeling she had? Rowen? Kaylee stared at Rowen. God, he looked so happy in front of her. Rowen was singing, serenading her.
"Set me free...Fill the need in me...Set me free...Stay for ever and ever and ever and ever..."
{Forever...}
"La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la..."
"Nice performance." commented Cye. He and Mia were standing just outside the door.
"Thank you! Thank you!" Jade let go of Ryo and blew them kisses. "Autographs after the show please. If you want a interview, contact my agent!"
"Tell your agent to cancel your next tour because you've got to help us set the table." said Mia, grinning. "C'mon."
"Yes m'am!" Jade saluted before she grabbed the plates and followed Mia outside.
"Can I help?" Kaylee asked the others. Rowen smiled quickly at Kaylee.
"Sure, take the food out." Rowen said. Kaylee looked at him and didn't move.
"Um...Rowen. You need to let her go first." Cye said to him. Kaylee smiled as Rowen blushed lightly and released his hold around Kaylee's waist.
"Thank you." Kaylee said, lingering before she aided the other females.
Dinner finished in about an hour. Jade and Kaylee was instructed to watch television while the guys did the cleaning. Jade and Kaylee realized they had to leave since it was getting late.
"Do you have to?" whined Kento as the two girls got their things ready.
"Yes we do." said Kaylee, regretting it secretly. She had enjoyed their company.
"I've got school with you guys tomorrow and I need my stuff for class." said Jade.
"Oh." said Kento, sighing slightly. "Well tomorrow then."
"Yes, Kento." smiled Jade. "I'll come by and play with you guys tomorrow."
"What kind-" Rowen snickered and Jade glared at him cutting him off.
"Immature Smurf." sad Jade, smiling.
"Monkey girl." replied Rowen, smiling as well.
"Bye!" called out the Ronins and Mia as Kaylee and Jade got into their vehicles.
"Bye." Kaylee nodded a good-bye before she put on her helmet. Jade started her car and waved.
"See ya!" called out Jade as she pulled away from Mia's house. The five boys and Mia watched the two girls drive down the road going back to Infinity Complex.
"Their stay was certainly interesting." said Mia.
"You have no idea." said Sage, watching Kaylee leave. Rowen did the same, gazing after Kaylee's taillights till it vanished around the bend in the road. Ryo was the first to go back inside, followed by the others. Sage and Rowen returned to their rooms and each contemplated the feelings they felt from Kaylee silently.
~~~Infinity Complex~~~

"Good night." said Jade as Kaylee exited the elevator. Jade had nine more floors to go since she lived on the highest floor.

"Night." replied Kaylee as the elevator doors closed. Kaylee walked back to her apartment and unlocked it before stepping inside. The familiarity of her home was a warm greeting like a hug. She was back with the objects she knew and the life she was familiar with. Kaylee entered her room and grabbed clothes for a shower. After showering, Kaylee turned on her computer to add the research she had found in Mia's library into her home computer.

The rapid clicking of the keyboard started to lull Kaylee into sleep. She finished her last sentence before she could fall asleep at her desk, not like it hasn't happen a couple times before already. Kaylee shut off her computer and crawled into bed. Her head was full of bits and pieces of information. It was starting to overwhelm her. Kaylee decided it was best not to think so much and forced her eyes to close. Her breathing steadied and Kaylee soon was fast asleep.

[Kaylee was at an old temple this time. The other nine armors were there too...their bearers alive. Nine armors with their bearers right beside them. Kaylee sighed as she recognized she was in another dream.

"Not another dream...I want out of this dream!" Kaylee muttered. An ominous feeling entered the dream. "What?" She turned around. "Something ...coming..."

A shadowed figure appeared to their right which created mixed reactions within the group. "What...what is going on?" Kaylee backed up slowly. "Don't want to be here..I shouldn't be here!" A light started to glow from the shadowed figure.

"You can't run from it." said the mysterious man.

"No...stay away from me!"

"You are chosen." A flash of indigo appeared in the figure's hands.

"Who are you?" Kaylee shrieked out. In an answer, the indigo light grew brighter and the man raised his hand. Kaylee half gasped and half screamed in shock and fright. "Anu-Anubis..." stuttered Kaylee. "NO!! GET THAT THING AWAY FROM ME!! I don't want it!"

Anubis looked at the shaking form of Kaylee steadily, "You once said those who want the armors least will be the ones who get them."

"BUT I WAS TALKING ABOUT JADE! NOT ME!" screamed Kaylee.

"What makes you think Jade has a choice in her destiny?" said Ryo sadly from behind Kaylee. Kaylee spun around. This was the first time she was able to hear his voice. {Ryo's alive! Ryo's alive!}

"Everyone has a choice!" Kaylee shouted at Ryo.

"And you're making yours now?" asked Anubis, making Kaylee turn back to look at him. "Without knowing what the situation is?"

"Just what is so important that you want me involved..." Kaylee said to the monk.

"You already know part of it." said Kento, appearing beside Ryo. One by one, the other armor bearers materialized beside Anubis. All were looking at her.

"But...I'm no one that is supposed to make history!" said Kaylee, still unwilling to submit to the monk's wishes.

"You are to save what is known as our history." said Cale.

"Impossible..." whispered Kaylee. "History cannot be changed!"

"Yet still mystical armors and magic can?" asked Anubis.

"I don't understand!" cried Kaylee.

"Take the armor and you will." said Anubis. "Or they will fall."

"But..why?"

"An immortal power will come to this world. It is both Good and Evil, Life and Death. Only with your help, could Good win out over Evil to bring back Life."

"I am just a researcher...I was just...just showing off the other day!"

"The armor has chosen its master. You were already prepared. The weapons you fight with will be the ones you take into battle." said Anubis.

Suddenly, the weaponry from the Tempest armor appears in Kaylee's hands. The weight of them felt comfortable, an extension of her own limbs.

"It can't be..." Kaylee marveled at how well they felt in her hands. The balance was perfect.

"It has begun. Be ready when you accept." Anubis said gravely. Not if, but when.

The choice has been made. Kaylee's heart changed at that moment as if it was opening up against her will and yet of her will as if she felt many minds linked with her in a sort of welcome. And there was something else there and for some reason it warmed her. The Ronins smiled encouragingly as indigo glowed from her being.

"So...warm." Kaylee fell to her knees, crying.

Strength. Friendship. Trust. Love. Hope. It was all there. Those were only the feelings with words. Many others ran through Kaylee as she cried. The Ronins and Warlords surrounded the sobbing Kaylee. Their presence seemed like a pillar of strength and support to end Kaylee's tears.

"You will not be alone." said Rowen. "We'll be beside you in this fight." Kaylee felt their strength.

"But...I...I have always lived alone...I...it's been my way...I never..." Kaylee tried to protest through her tears as the indigo light around her pulsed like the chimes on the Ancient's staff.

"No...not anymore...you won't be alone. We'll be with you..." Rowen reached out and offered his hand to help her stand like before on the pier. Kaylee stared at him through her tears.

"Accept your destiny." Rowen said, telling her to take his hand. Kaylee reached up and took his hand. As soon as their fingers touched, a brilliant indigo light shot out from Kaylee.

Powerful winds formed a tornado of indigo light and power as it swirled around Kaylee. Lightening crashed, shooting its energy into the tornado to electrify the winds. Kaylee heard and felt the air burning around her as it became her transformation. The sudden howls of the winds vanished as Kaylee stood bearing an indigo armor with silver accents. The stylized tornado in front of the crossed lightening bolts marked it as the armor of Tempest. Kaylee looked at herself, still holding the weapons of the Tempest armor.

"It was destined to be so." Anubis smiled for Kaylee was armored. "The armor chose you. It was the right choice."

"I...I feel different...but why would this armor choose me? I have no qualities to offer..."

"Strength. Courage, Knowledge. Honor. So many more you are unaware of." said Anubis.

"Anubis...you're glowing!" Kaylee stared at Anubis in shock and fascination. His entire body was resonating with a golden light. She turned to Kayura who was also glowing with the same color. A transfer of power?

"And Kayura...something is happening to her...something is coming! It's not evil" said Kaylee, slightly relieved. "I can FEEL something is going to happen..."

Anubis smiled, ignoring the glowing light, "We'll see you in battle."

"But what's happening to the two you?" asked Kaylee quickly. She was so confused. She was still so hestiant about accepting her destiny but it looked like she had no other choice.

"It will be soon...very soon." said Anubis before the light overpowered him and made Kaylee look away. The dream had ended.]

Kaylee woke up, her hand was clutching something tightly. Kaylee brought it towards her face but she knew what was already held within her palm. She opened her hand slowly and saw the small object. An indigo orb. And she knew it wasn't a dream.

"My destiny...so it shall be..." Kaylee said, looking at the orb.

~~~Koji residence~~~
After Kaylee's discovery, she had stayed in bed until her emotional debate was finished. Kaylee decided she would accept the power granted to her. So she got out of bed and prepared to face the others. She had to tell the Ronin Warriors now that Anubis had told her another battle was arriving soon. The morning passed into afternoon while Kaylee paced around her house waiting for school to let out. She drove over to Mia's house after she knew the Ronins would have to return home. The group was gathered in Mia's living room, all surprised at her sudden and unannounced visit. She had them all on the edge of their seats.
"What's up?" asked Kento. "You're so tense."
"It's the Tempest armor I was researching." said Kaylee.
"So give us an update." Ryo said, staring at the serious girl.
"Anubis says he'll see you in battle." answered Kaylee quietly. She knew her kanji orb was in her possession.
"What?" everyone including Mia screamed out who came out from her room. The five boys and Mia couldn't believe it.
"How?" asked Mia in bewilderment. "Anubis is dead..." Kaylee sighed heavily and took out her kanji orb.
"And... I got this..." said Kaylee. Everyone gasped for they recognized instantly what it was.
"Anubis is on a journey...I think it was my armor that did it." admitted Kaylee. "I was sleeping and it all came to me. Kayura, Sekhmet, Dais, and Cale were there with... Anubis."
The group stared at the blue orb and saw the kanji "Destiny" glowing brightly. Nothing could describe the power that was radiating from the small object. Kaylee continued speaking in the silence.
"I think...I think he's going to come back to life..." Kaylee said, trying to sound certain for the others' benefit.
"Anubis is coming back." Mia murmured hopefully. "The tenth armor has been awakened and found its bearer."
"A tenth armor." Kento said. "I can't believe it."
"The Ancient One is amazing." said Cye.
"I've felt premonitions of this event as well." said Sage quietly. "I just didn't know what to say yet."
"It's out in the open now." said Ryo. "What do you know?"
"I know I'm not the only one that's been having disturbing dreams." said Sage. "Kaylee and I are accounted for. But I feel like there's someone else who should know of this battle as well."
"I got the same feeling." said Kaylee. "Like someone is watching us silently."
"But that's not all...I think...Kayura something was happening to her too..." said Sage.
"Kayura?" asked Cye. "What?"
"I don't know." admitted Sage. "But she's changing."
"Kaylee got a new armor, Anubis is being resurrected, and Kayura is changing!" said Kento.
"An enemy's coming." said Sage firmly.
"A strong one to make all these changes happen." said Ryo.
"We must be careful now. Who knows when we will be attacked." said Mia. "Kaylee, I think since you know most of what is going to happen, you should stay with us for awhile."
"It would be convenient." said Rowen quickly. "To have everyone who knows about the armors live here."
"I agree." said Sage. "Everyone who knows about the armors should be close in case something happens."
"Thank you for your offer but I can't...." said Kaylee. "I would get in everyone's way."
"We insist." sid Mia. "It's the best way to keep everyone who knows about the armors safe." Kaylee started to protest by Mia cut her off before she began. "Kaylee, please don't say no."
"All right." said Kaylee finally. "I'll accept your offer. I just need to arrange to get my stuff moved here. Just some of it and keep my apartment as a secondary place."
"Sure!" Mia said. "We'll help you."
"Sounds like a good idea!" said Rowen.
"All right." said Kaylee, getting up. "We might as well get this over with."
"It's be ok." said Mia, standing up as well.
"Yeah, another girl in the house." said Kento. "To keep Mia company!" Mia laughed, totally agreeing with him.
Sometimes living in the house full of teenage boys had its fair share of ups and downs. With Kaylee around, the up side was looking brighter.
"Where's Jade?" asked Kaylee suddenly. "She didn't come over after school today."
"She didn't come to school today at all." said Cye.
"And the school didn't know either." said Rowen, becoming a bit worried. "She didn't call in to report her absence."
"We called her house during lunch but she didn't pick up." said Kento.
"We'll visit her while we move Kaylee's things." said Mia. "It's rather strange though..."
The Ronins had to agree. Not even death could keep Jade away from attending school.
The group reached Infinity Complex and they rode the elevator up to Kaylee's floor. Mia and Ryo went up to Jade's apartment to see of she was all right. Kaylee led the remaining four to her door and began to pack. Soon her things were ready to be transported. Sage, Cye and Kento took down Kaylee's clothes and bags. All that was left was Kaylee's books and a laptop.
Kaylee started to pick up the box of books when Rowen gently pushed her aside. Kaylee protested as Rowen's strong hands guided her away.
"No, I can take that." said Kaylee quickly as Rowen started to pick up the heavy box of books.
"Don't worry. I got it." said Rowen, lifting the box easily.
"You don't have to do that." Kaylee said. "I can handle it."
"I never said you couldn't." replied Rowen. "I'm sure you could lift this box wihout any trouble. But I want to."
"Thanks." said Kaylee, watching Rowen.
"No problem." Rowen flashed Kaylee a warm smile. Kaylee turned quickly to grab her laptop, hiding the pink that was starting to creep up on her cheeks. The ice beauty was starting to melt.
"Let's go." said Kaylee. Rowen walked out after her, breathing in her scent. {I'm so glad Mia offered to let her stay with us.} He waited for Kaylee to lock her door before they walked to the elevator.
The two got into elevator and pressed the button for the bottom floor. Kaylee sighed heavily. She was leaving her home. This was something she never thought would happen.
"What's wrong?" asked Rowen.
"I've lived alone for the longest I can remember." said Kaylee. "I've always been alone."
"No...not anymore..you won't be alone. We'll be with you..." Rowen said, grinning. Kaylee gasped in shock and felt her heart beat faster. Those words! Rowen had said the same words to her in her dream! Kaylee decided that her destiny really was to fight with the Ronin Warriors right then and there. She leaned against the elevator wall and tried to slow down her heart rate. Rowen gazed at the girl tenderly. Just then, the elevator shuddered and Kaylee was thrown against Rowen. Rowen dropped the box of books to steady the girl before she could fall. Kaylee fell against Rowen's chest and Rowen held her as the elevator stopped moving.
"Are you ok?" asked Rowen. The lights went out then, plunging the elevator on semi-darkness as the emergency lights turned on.
"Again, you save me." said Kaylee.
"Of course I would." said Rowen. {Are our destinies connected? I'm sure they are.}
"You would?" asked Kaylee.
"I promise." Rowen pulled back slightly and stared at Kaylee.
He leaned down and kissed her. Kaylee closed her eyes and felt Rowen's lips touch her own. The warmness of his body began to overwhelm her. His lips pressed harder against her own and Kaylee reached up to stroke his smooth face. Rowen hugged Kaylee towards him and continued the kiss.
~~~Akikou residence~~~

"I don't think she's home." said Mia as no one answered the door. "Maybe she went out."

"No, I doubt it." said Ryo. "She doesn't cut class. It's not like her! Something's wrong!" Ryo was getting worried and frustrated.

"Well, we can't get in to see." said Mia. Ryo didn't answer as he pulled out his keys. He chose a silver key and started to insert it into the keyhole. "Ryo! Where did you get that?" asked Mia, highly suspicious.

"I'm not Sage, Mia." said Ryo, giving her a look. "This is Jade's spare key in case she ever lost hers."

"Oh." said Mia, feeling better now that she knew Ryo hadn't illegally copied Jade's house keys.

The door unlocked and Ryo pushed the door open, knocking on it.

"Jade?" Mia called out, walking in. "Are you home?" Mia and Ryo looked around after walking through the short front hallway. The living room was furnished with a large sofa, a small wood and glass coffee table, various sized lamps on the floors and walls, and a set of cushioned chairs. A large sliding glass door led to the outside balcony where a telescope stood on a tripod. It was wide open and the chilly breeze of night was coming in. The dining room had large black and gold table capable of seating six. The large open kitchen was opposite of it. The bedrooms were on the other side of the apartment.

Mia and Ryo could see nothing out of the ordinary besides the balcony door open and the telescope being left out so carelessly. Ryo and Mia walked quickly to the bedrooms. There was two. Jade stayed in on and used the other one for everything else, like martial arts practice, painting, and mediatation.

"Dammit..." cursed Ryo as he turned the locked doorknob to Jade's room. "Jade?" No answer.

"Maybe she's sleeping?" Mia was starting to get worried. Ryo started to pound on the door.

"Jade?" called out Ryo. "I'm coming in if you don't answer me!" No answer again. "Move out of the way, Mia." ordered Ryo as he backed up. Ryo threw his body against the door and it swung open. "Jade!" Ryo rushed in, thinking that something must be terribly wrong. Ryo stopped when he saw Jade sitting at her desk, her back towards them. She faced an open window with a book in her hand. She looked like she had been reading.

Jade turned away from the window to look at Ryo and Mia.

"Ryo..." Jade said as Ryo and Mia stared her.

"Are you ok?" asked Mia, walking past Ryo.

"Didn't you hear us?" asked Ryo angrily.

"I'm sorry..." Jade let the book drop from her hands. It hit the ground with a soft thunk and closed.

"Are you reading? It's too dark to read." said Mia, noticing none of the lamps were on in the room. Mia glanced at the book and noted it wasn't a textbook, most likely for a school assignment. {The Diaries of the Watchers.} It was eerily dark in her room. Jade's violet eyes looked black, her face pale and drawn.

"Are you sick?" asked Ryo, softening. Ryo kneeled by her and placed his hand on her forehead.

"No I'm not..." said Jade, listlessly.

"What's wrong?" asked Ryo.

"Nothing." said Jade. "It's nothing."

"Mia, come here." said Ryo. "Tell me if she looks sick."

"I'm not sick!" said Jade, pushing Ryo's hand away roughly and getting up. She walked past Mia and left her room. Mia and Ryo exchanged looks and followed her.

"Jade..." Ryo said as he found the girl staring at her medicine cabinet in her bathroom.

"If I take some medication, would you all go away?" asked Jade coldly. Ryo paused, shocked still. Jade bit her lower lip and steadied herself before she turned to Ryo.

"Can you please go?" Jade begged. "I'm fine."

"You're sick! I'm not leaving you alone while you're sick!"

"I'm not sick!" said Jade, getting frustrated.

"You're coming with us even if I have to pick you up and carry you out!" shouted Ryo. Jade stared at him and moved away.

"Ryo, don't." said Mia, watching the two fight.

"If I have to stay here until you get better, I will. I'm not leaving." said Ryo. "One way or the other. Your choice."

Jade turned away. "Fine. I'll go." Jade said, her energy leaving her.

Ryo pulled her towards him and gave her a hug. Jade leaned against him and sighed. She felt like crying. Soon Mia and Jade were packing her things. One bag contained the book she was reading before.

~~~Elevator~~~
Kaylee pulled away first, leaving Rowen's warm embrace. Kaylee watched Rowen stare at her. He felt foolish. It seemed like a good idea but after seeing Kaylee looked at him in shock like that was causing him to have second thoughts.
"I'm..."
"If you say sorry, I'll kick you." said Kaylee, staring at Rowen.
"I'm not." laughed Rowen. "I know I'm not."
"I know I'm not too." said Kaylee truthfully.
"Then you won't if I..." Rowen trailed off as he kissed Kaylee again.
After a few more minutes of kissing, Rowen pulled away. The elevator had started working and it was going up. Rowen gave the panel a dark glare as Kaylee smiled at him. The doors open nine floors higher.
"Rowen! Kaylee!" said Mia as the two smiled at the her. "I thought you two would have finished already!"
"We're done now." said Kaylee, not mentioning the elevator incident.
"Jade! Are ok?" Rowen saw that Ryo was carrying Jade's bags and the girl was staring at the floor.
"She's sick." explained Mia.
"I'm not sick." muttered Jade.
"She's going to stay with us too." said Mia.
"Good!" said Rowen. "We'll take care of you!"
"You gotta have an illness before it can be cured." said Jade, walking into the elevator with the others.
The group made it to the bottom floor without any further trouble. Sage, Cye and Kento didn't think twice about the length of time it took for all of them to get downstairs. They were concerned about Jade. When they found out she was coming with, they decided to take her car as well. Sage drove Jade's car after Kaylee and Jade's things were packed in the trunk of the jeep and black car. They reached Mia's house in no time and soon they had Kaylee and Jade settled in permanently.
"Whew...that is finally done." said Kaylee as she put away the last of her stuff . She collapsed on her bed. "Bah! If only I wasn't so bloody sore."
Rowen peeked in, "Hey!"
"I hurt..." Kaylee mumbled. "Too many...stairs." Kaylee mumbled as she laid on her stomach, her face in her pillow. Rowen laughed, stepping into the room. He closed the door behind him.
"You'll get used to it. It's another workout." Rowen walked over and started to massage her neck again, not bothering to ask. His strong hands rubbed away the day's worth of pain from the move.
"Why are you always so nice to me, Rowen?" Kaylee asked, breathing a sigh of relief. "You always know what I need...even if I don't want to admit it."
"It's just a feeling." Rowen admitted. "I can't explain it really."
"I still don't understand why. Why was I chosen? Why was it happening to me and not someone else." Kaylee asked out loud. Those thoughts had been haunting her still. The thought of failure was never far from her. Rowen turned to Kaylee.
"The answer isn't simple but I figured that I was chosen because no one else could handle it. Why give the armors to someone who would destroy themselves using it? Instead the armors chose those who were worthy to protect the good in humanity." Rowen said seriously. Kaylee looked at the kanji orb that rested on her night stand
"I would never have thought myself worthy." said Kaylee, sitting up and taking her kanji orb in her hand.
"None of us thought we were worthy." Rowen said, taking out his own kanji orb. "But it wasn't our decision. It was the armor's."
"True." Kaylee saw the kanji "Destiny" glow briefly. Rowen's glowed as well. "Life" and "Destiny" glowed and reacted with each other.
"You were there for me...in the last dream...you ...you held my hand...like you did on the pier." Kaylee admitted to him.
"I'm drawn to you, like a magnet. And I'm linked you to as well." Rowen smiled. "Maybe we're destined to be..." Rowen said, his voice sounding wistful.
"It...that doesn't seem bad at all." Kaylee smiled as well and she looked up at Rowen.
"No it doesn't." said Rowen. "Not a bit." Rowen murmured. "Everything has a reason. Nothing's coincidence." Rowen leaned over to kiss Kaylee. Kaylee kissed him back. She put her arms around Rowen and looked into his eyes. "I'm glad I met you." said Rowen.
"I'm...I'm glad I met you too." Kaylee smiled at Rowen. Her heart was telling her everything was going to be alright if she was with him. "You gave me strength...and encouraged me...in the dream." Rowen kissed her once again and held her. Kaylee's eyes showed a softness that she'd not shown openly before. Rowen saw the change in Kaylee and smiled warmly.
The skies darkened and the others wondered what was taking so long for Rowen and Kaylee to come downstairs.
"Should we go down?" Kaylee whispered to him.
"Yeah, I think so." said Rowen. "This is only the beginning."
"Yes...it's only the beginning." Kaylee said, straightening her clothes. Rowen and Kaylee exited her room and almost collided into a frantic Kento.
"What's going on?" asked Rowen as Kento rushed by.
"Jade fainted!" Kento shouted as he ran into Jade's room. Dread filled Rowen and Kaylee when Kento's answer registered.
"Something bad is going to happen." said Kaylee. Kento raced out with a pillow and blanket and ran back downstairs. Kaylee and Rowen followed quickly.
In the living room, laid out on the sofa was Jade. She had fainted just moments before. Kento slipped the pillow under Jade's head while Mia and Ryo tried to revive her. The others were nearby, worried and frightened. The television was on and blaring but was ignored. Kaylee paused. The newscaster was in the middle of reporting a special emergency bulletin.
"Guys!" shouted Kaylee as she pointed to the television.
"Earlier today, a large unknown force destroyed many buildings in central Toyama." the female newscaster reported.
"What the..." muttered Kento. Mia and Ryo were busy focusing on reviving Jade but they listened tensely.
"No one knows the origin of the destructive force but the police are still investigating. Quote from one witness, 'The world is going to end again...be ready.' This is some footage from ground zero..."
The image of the newscaster was replaced by the destruction. Broken buildings and overturned vehicles on ripped up streets filled the screen. Kaylee leaned forward.
"That symbol!!" Kaylee saw something that cameras caught. "Someone fought them..but...that symbol.." Kaylee ran into her room to grab her laptop, turning it on as she ran back downstairs with it. Her fingers flew across the keyboard. "I know I saw it before...come on...where'd I put that file?" She searched her archived research files.
"What are you looking for?" asked Mia, looking up from Jade.
"Some old research I did...I have seen that symbol in my research." Kaylee kept her eyes on the screen as she replied.
"Found it!" She printed the information out. "That symbol...it's for the demonic angel Gabriolus. He's a fallen angelic warrior from the higher kingdom."
"Demonic angel? Is that possible?" asked Rowen.
"He's a very powerful opponent! He's smart too or so the legends says."
"A fallen angel as our enemy..." Sage said. "This might have something to do with Jade."
"What do you mean?" asked Ryo. "That has nothing to do with her! She collapsed before hearing that report!" he shouted.
"Ryo, don't get angry with me. I'm worried too!" Sage said tensely.
"It's a coincidence!" said Ryo stubbornly. He turned back to the still girl.
"We better go check it out." said Cye. Kaylee started to speak once more.
"Who carries both light and dark in him but the dark rules over him now. If he has any underlings or soldiers you can bet they won't be idiots." said Kaylee. She stood up.
"That means we better go check this out now!" said Kento.
"What about Jade?" asked Cye. "We can't leave her alone!"
"I'll take care of her." Mia said. "You guys go."
"No. That's not necessary." said Kaylee.
"What?" asked the others.
"I'm going to check it out...alone." Kaylee turned and left the house. It's not like she didn't care about the others. She was worried for Jade too. But maybe Sage was right. Gabriolous's return may have something to do with the girl.
"Kaylee! Wait!" shouted Rowen, running out as Kaylee drove away.
Arriving a half hour later in the city itself where the destruction laid. The section of the city was in shambles. Nothing was left standing whole in a three mile radius. Kaylee got off her motorcycle, putting the helmet on her bike handle. Kaylee looked around at the rubble in the city.
"Such a mess..." muttered Kaylee. So they had returned and this was their greeting to the world.
The area was desolate as no life remained. Kaylee walked around what was left of that section of town, her shoes crunching on the debris. She felt another presence nearby. Two of them.
"Who's there?" Kaylee looked around, suddenly defensive but not armoring up yet. Lady Kayura walked out, carrying the Ancient's staff. She was unarmored and dressed in regal robes.
"You must be Kaylee Star." Kayura acknowledged the bearer of the tenth armor.
"That's me, yes..." replied Kaylee, slowly.
"Do you know who I am?" asked Kayura.
Kaylee thinks for a moment. "Lady Kayura? It's you right...you were in my dreams."
"Yes, I am Kayura." replied Kayura. "And you were in mine, Warrior of Destiny. This destruction you see before you only confirms my dreams," Kayura turned to the debris, "they have come at last and you are needed."
Kaylee said nothing but she spotted a different insignia.
"Oh no..." she gasped seeing the insignia. She recognized it as another bit of research she did registered in her mind. "I recognize this symbol...I hope it isn't true." Kaylee picked up the symbol and then doubled over as she's assaulted with images. She was kneeling on the ground. Kayura raced over and tried to calm the girl down since she was shaking.
"Gabriolus...he's released them...he's working with them!" Kaylee managed to say through her shaking.
"I should have foreseen this!" Kayura said angrily. "He's spoken about in the old text. A fallen angel!"
"But now he's working with the Demonesses of the Dark Elements," said Kaylee, "Obsidiania, Pyria, Darkclaw, Bludwing, and their leader Toxica. The Dark Demonesses of Water, Fire, Earth, Air, and Corruption."
"The Demonness of the Dark Elements." Kayura sighed. "I have to speak with the Warlords about this."
"That is true." said Anubis, walking out from the shadows.
"Anubis...I should have known that other presence was you." said Kaylee. "You're wearing your Cruelty armor!" Kaylee gasped was Anubis was not only alive but wearing his original armor. "But Kayura..." Anubis walked over and placed his hand on Kaylee's back. All the negativity she felt from remembering Gabriolus left her body. "Thank you."
"You are in tuned with your armor already." smiled Anubis. "I'm glad." Lady Kayura spun around. She felt a dark presence.
"Get down!" shouted Lady Kayura as she pushed Anubis and Kaylee back onto the ground just as an energy blast shot through the air. A spear made of dark water just missed them going over their heads.
"Who's there?" shouted Anubis.
"COME OUT!" demanded Kaylee.
Laughter greeted their ears. "I know you are there. Staying down won't save you since I can see all of you quite clearly." said a female voice. Kaylee looked up and saw Obsidiania on top of the only building left standing. Obsidiania had long dark hair that fell in ebony waves over her body. Her eyes were deep blue and looked so cold and malevolent that they looked ice. She was tall, slender and was dressed in a long black gown. It had intricate blue sigils stitched all over, the pattern looked like waves of water. The sigils glowed with magic.
"Hmph." smirked Obsidiania. "Don't challenge me girl. You'll only lose."
Kaylee's eyes go cold again. "You know that's hardly fair."
"I'm not going to waste my time with you." Obsidiania raised her hand and started chanting. A wave of dark water formed a whirlpool in the air.
"Armor of Tempest...I SUMMON YOU!" Kaylee said throwing her kanji orb up and first getting her subarmor then her main armor.
"What's going on?" asked Cale, appearing from the darkness. Sekhmet and Dais were behind her. All were armored.
"Anubis!" Sekhmet said in shock as he stood beside Kayura. "You're alive!"
"Yes I've noticed." said Anubis grimly. "But let's try to remain focus on Obsidiana, the Demoness of Dark Water."
"That's not all." said Dais as he saw Kaylee transformed. "Are you ready?" he asked Kaylee.
"Yes...I am...let's get her!"
The group moved to begin the battle. Kaylee leaped up in the air and swung her quarterstaff around.
"WINDS OF FURY!" Kaylee cried out as a large tornado hit Obsidiania. Obsidiania felt the wind front slam against her, pushing her back. She recovered and created a wave of water that rushed at the group.
"BRACE YOURSELVES!" shouted Anubis as the water came at them. The group heard Anubis's shout and tried to but the force of the water was too great. They all ended up on the ground. The water flooded the streets, washing over them. The group picked themselves off the streets and stood in determination. Kaylee looked at all their armor. They were glowing, their armors reacting strangely.
"What...what's going on..." asked Kaylee, her voice sounding frantic.
"There's someone else!" said Kayura, her voice hard. The glowing got brighter and the armored group felt an energy force building up around them. "IT'S GABRIOLUS!" shouted Kayura. "I CAN FEEL HIS MAGIC!"
Gabriolus created a large vortex in the skies. It opened up and began to suck everything in. One by one, the group felt their armors being pulled towards the portal with them still in it. It was futile to fight it. It was focused on their mystcical armors. The group was taken into the portal before they were discarded into the skies, each headed towards their origins. The only thing left in the street was Kaylee's short sword.
The Ronin Warriors appeared quickly, their own armors drawing them to the inevitable battle. But they were too late as they saw the ex- Dark Warlords, Lady Kayura, and Kaylee were blown away by Gabriolus's magic. Gabriolus had disappeared with Obsidiania.
"Kaylee!" screamed Rowen as he saw the girl vanish in the skies. He pulled the sword of from the ground and cradled it. "Kaylee..." he whispered.
The Ronin Warriors stood there and wondered what to do next. The spirit of The Ancient appeared to them just then, bringing forth a message.
"They have been sent home. Find them. The Watcher would know where." said The Ancient One.
"The Watcher?" asked Ryo.
"Find them. All of them have returned home. Like you once were." said the Ancient one before he vanished.
"Kaylee..." murmured Rowen as he held onto the weapon.
