Let's start with another travel guide and vacation planner,Unforgettable Manitoba or Travel Manitoba. This one is available also in French and it is packed with info on the province and the capital city. This is a must-see site and you'll learn a lot about life in Manitoba here.



By the way, the picture is from Webshots and it shows the Aurora Borealis or Northern Lights in the northernmost city of Churchill. It was named after the British wartime Prime Minister and is one of the coldest place in Manitoba. The Northern Lights blaze away in the evening until early morning and are very interesting to look at. It is sometimes visible even in Winnipeg.



The other website is the official Province of Manitoba website where one can get all the information from the government. It is a good companion site for Travel Manitoba as there are some facts that are not in the other site. It can be viewed at Province of Manitoba. Visit these two sites as often as you like for all the things you would like to know about Winnipeg and the province.
