More sites to visit ![]() The picture above is a snapshot of a sunset in Blue Lake, Manitoba, a favourite place to relax for people who seek solitude and beautiful sights. It came from April pro photos of Webshots, the site where I usually get my photos for the Ronnie Trias Homepage. Surfing around the net, I came across four good websites to visit and learn more about this city and province. The first one is Winnipeg Airport and you'll find travelling tips and facts about the city. You'll get a glimpse of arriving and departing flights on real-time here. The second site is CBC Manitoba, the radio and tv site of the official media of this country. It is available also in French language and gives up-to-the-minute information and broadcast about the city and province. There are webcam and weather forecast sections that helps you visualize Winnipeg scenes. The third site is UofM FM Station where you can listen online to talks and music from their broadcast studios. There are also links to Canadian campus stations. Next time, I'd also feature the other radio stations broadcasting different types of music in the city and province. The last site for today is Folklorama, where you can get information on multicultural diversity in this city and the two week festival held in August of every year since the 70s. This is one unique offering of this city and tourists from all over come here to visit 40-plus pavilions of different cultures all over the world. 2007-04-11 19:44:49 GMT
