1. Length is 8' from center of rear axle to farthest point forward.
2. Width is not to exceed 6'.
3. Engine size: must be a motorcycle engine or garden tractor engine with 4-cylinders. Must be orginally equipped manufacturers engine with the engine block or cylinder stamped with maximum of 1225 cc. Any other engine modifications is allowed. Must be naturally aspirated. Turbo charged or blowers allowed only as equipped as factory installed.
4. Maximum tire size 29 x 12.5 x 15 or 26 x 12 x 12 tire.
5. If a contestant is required to reweigh after pulling, 1% of variance of weight will be allowed.
6. Two weight classes: 1150 lbs and 1300 lbs maximum. Total weight includes; tractor, driver, fuel and weights.
7. Hitch is to be no less than 1/2" thick steel. If bolted, bolts (at least 2) and must be a minimum size of 3/8" (grade 5 or better).
8. Hooking point on hitch must be a minimum of 6" from center of rear axle.
9. Hitch has to have 3/8" cable round back of hitch and around front of rear end with two clamps on each splice or cable hook on axle tube with 2 clamps on each splice.
10. All tractors must have a backup light.
11. All tractors must have a neutral start switch or a safety start switch.
12. All chains must be sheilded 180 degrees on top with a minimum of 1/8" steel.
13. All u-joints and chain coupling must be sheilded with maximum 1/8" steel at least 180 degrees.
14. All bell housing must be covered with 1/4" steel 180 degrees minimum.
15. All automatic transmissions will have starter ring covers, a minimum of 180 degrees. Can be 1/8" steel or 1-1/4" aluminum a minimum of 1/2" wide must be securely fastened to frame or engine.
16. All automatic transmissions must be covered with a NHRA approved transmission blanket.
17. All rubber mounted or cast iron harmonic balancers must be shielded with 1/4" steel.
18. Engines must be covered from top of pan to bottom of heads and length of engine with 16 gauge steel or aluminum.
19. Exhaust pipes must extend no less than 12" above bend. They can lay out no more than 10 degrees and lay back no more than 30 degrees.
20. All belts must be covered.
21. All throttles must push forward and return to idle. No hydraulic or air throttles.
22. All tractors must have 2 return springs on throttle.
23. Back tires must have fenders that are a minimum of 4" wide and a minimum of 18" long.
