1. Length is 8 feet from center of rear axle to furthest point forward.
2. Width should not exceed 6 feet.
3. Engine size: maximum 360 cubic inch plus 0.65 overbore. Cast iron block and heads and flat top pistons. No aluminim heads or rods. No exceptions.
4. Carburetor - any single carburetor.
5. Intake manifold - any single carburetor manifold.
6. Ignition - stock type ignition, no mags. MSD box no more than 6 exceptable.
7. Cam - flat tapped cam only. (no roller cam).
8. No cam gear drives.
9. Pump gas, racing and alcohol fuels allowed.
10. Maximum tire size: 31-15.50-15
11. Two weight classes - 1650 lbs and 1800 lbs maximum. Total weight includes; tractor, driver, fuel and any added weights.
12. If a contestant is required after pulling, a 1% variance of weight allowed.
13. All tractors must have backup lights.
14. All tractors must have a neutral start switch or a clutch safety start switch.
15. Automatic transmissions will have a starter ring cover, a minimum of 18" long.
16. All automatic transmissions must be covered with a NHRA approved blanket.
17. All rubber mounted or cast iron harmonic balancers must be sheilded with 1/4" steel.
18. Engines must be covered from top of pan to bottom of heads and the length of the engine with 16" gauge steel or aluminum.
19. Exhaust pipes must extend no less than 12" above the bend. They can layout no more than 10 degress and lay back no more than 30 degrees.
20. All throttles must pull forward and return to idle. No hydraulic or air throttles.
21. All tractors must have two return springs on throttle.
22. Back tires must have fenders that are a minimum of 4" sides and a minimum of 18" long.
23. No weights can extend the back tires.
24. No forms of nitromethane (including nitrious oxide) are allowed as fuel additives for pulling, no pressurized fuels allowed. |
