History -
At the age of 1, he was kidnapped by apocalypse. Apocalypse took him to his temple and allowed him to grow until he was 5 years old. Then he was taken to the Axis of time and trained for thousands of years. There being no time in the Axis he did not age, and was a feral killer at the age of 5. He knew Apocalypse as father, and lord. Apocalypse allowed him to return to earth, to grow until the age of 21, where he would send Wolverine on his first mission as the Horseman War.
Wolverine was known to be Apocalypses son and heir to the other horseman. He was the favored above them all. On his mission to assassinate the Xmen as children, he encountered a huge man by the name of Sabertooth. In his arrogance he tried to merely push Sabertooth out of his way, the result in this was a week long battle. It ended with Sabertooth driving andimantium claws through Wolverines neck. He lay unconcious in a pool of his own blood for hours until his body healed. He was filled with hate that was only rivaled by his love for his father. He contiued on his mission and succeeded.
When he returned to Apocalypse he was granted and rewarded with a suit of armor made of Carbinadium, the strongest substance next to Adimantium there was. These tools helped him in the coming conquest of the world. When it was all said and done, he only wanted to be near his lord to protect his father while he slept. In the contenent of Europe he used his training. Converting nearly the entire continent to his followers. He ruled over Europe in only the way that his father taught him, only the strong survived. If you could not survive the training, then you were disposed of. Inside his deep hatred for Sabertooth swelled and grew. He was the only person that had ever defeaten War. He would not stand by and let it happen. He knew Sabertooth was in the US, and at times he would go hunting for him.
They would fight on and off again and again. Somtimes Wolverine would win, and somtimes tooth would. And each fight only made their hatred for one another grow larger and larger. It was days after Apocalypse was killed before War even found out about it. A group of mutants had raided Sinisters processing plant, and Apocalypse had gone to intervene. He paid for it with his life. This enraged Wolverine, his father... gone. He would get revenge on the Xmen, and he would strike swift and hard. He thought surely these Xmen would not stay on the north american continent, as Sinister MUST have been searching for them for the same reason War would. The moment he found them, there would be no mercy.
