Changeling
Robert Maximillion Steele was born to a gentle family with the love of labour and of total respect for all. His father worked in a steel mill in a place on the east known as Sydney, and his mother worked in the hospital as a nurse, helping those that were ill and dying.

Robert was born to this family, and took the same pleasure and pride in his work that his family took in what they did, his schooling and his writing both a passion to him, he sought out the stories of days gone by, and wanted to bring those stories to life, and also took on the more Nordic appearances that he had so often dreamed when he was a child. As he grew he took on the same work as his father, finding a knack for the physical labours that his body could handle.

Young Robert however found that in his life things would become drastically stranger.

Robert awoke one morning and took to his usual method of preparing for his long day of good hard work, his hands already aching to bare the weight of hard labour he rounded the corner to the kitchen where his parents always awaited him, mother and father usually eating breakfast were nowhere to be seen, instead a man with long beautiful hair, eyes that almost appeared as gold, dressed in what could be defined only as leather weaved by a spider and armour weaved by dreams themselves standing with a simple cloth and standing beside a huge hammer. His jaw unhinged in near disbeleife when finally without a single word the man tossed the cloth to him. Young Robert of 22 caught the cloth in his somehow larger…Blue hands? At this his reflection was shown to him in the hallway mirror across from him as not a man, but a hulking beast of no shorter than 9 ft, and a mass of muscle that could only be dreamed to him before. As he turned to speak to the image of what he thought was a dream, the man was gone…only the whispered words;

“Your human life is at an end…you must away to Halifax my young knight, all of your answers await you there.”

Upon finding his father at work with a wide smile, his father handed him a paper saying that he was proud to see his son able to take up a scholarship for university in Halifax’s Dalhousie University for writing. The young man realized that it was no dream, it was no nightmare, it was a road to answers…..and he commanded himself to dare not stray from that road till his answers were found.
