He was born 30 September 1914 in Williamsport, Warren County, Indiana.  Birth Record: Book C-8, page 29.  He was the son of Jacob E. Troxel and Mabel A. Johnson.

3. Jennie Catherine Smith, born 08 July 1890 in Fountain County, Indiana; died 17 January 1923. She was the daughter of 6. George R. Smith and 7. Nettie Hamilton.
