Barbican double bill

If you want to explore the fusion of Tokyo and London then pop into the Barbican for their Urban Beats special today and tomorrow. JAM Tokyo London is a unique opportunity to see the latest in fashion, graphics, photography, music, media and art. Exploring the synergy across the range of creative thinkers JAM highlights new directions. This is a chance for an inside glance at the look, sound and experience of tomorrow.

JAM shares a double-bill with Helmut Newton, not part of the Japanese frenzy but well worth the visit. Newton’s photographs allows a tantalising glimpse into the world of extreme sophistication and wealth. The uncompromising photographs are typical of Newton who is one of the most controversial and challenging image-makers influencing people’s perceptions of beauty, fame and glamour.
