Barbecued Frankfurters |
1/3 cup vinegar 1-1/2 cups tomato juice 2 Tbsp. brown sugar 2 Tbsp. prepared mustard 1 teas. garlic salt 1 teas. salt 1/4 teas. pepper 1 small onion; minced 1/4 cup catchup 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce 8 to 10 frankfurters, cut into 1" lengths Combine vinegar, tomato juice,brown sugar,mustard, salts, pepper and onion. Cook, uncovered, 20 minutes, then stir in catchup and Worcestershire. Cool, then refrigerate until needed. At serving time: Heat up barbecue sauce. Add frankfurters and heat gently. |
