Broccoli Casserole 2 packages frozen chopped broccoli 1-1/2 cups instant rice (uncooked) 3/4 cup chopped onion 3/4 cup chopped celery 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 small jar Cheese-Whiz 1/2 stick butter, melted Put Broccoli in hot water to thaw and then drain well. Mix all ingredients except Cheese-Whiz. Pour into a 13 X 9 inch glass dish or pan. Spoon cheese -whiz over the top and mix in lightly. Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Uncover and bake 15 minutes more or until top is bubbly and lightly browned. This can be kept up to 3 days in refrigerator. |
