Country Potato Soup
( This is my own recipe)

5-6 large potatoes; diced
2 quarts water
2 stalks celery; chopped
1 meduim onion; chopped
1/2 cup instant mashed potatoes
1 Tbls. butter
6 slices bacon; fried and crumbled
3/4 cup cheese; grated  (american, cheddar or colby)
1/2 cup milk
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. white pepper

  Cook Potatoes, onion, celery in water until done. Add butter, bacon  and instant potatoes (this thickens soup). Add Milk and cheese and cook until cheese is melted.

Tip:May need to add more water while cooking potatoes, you need enough water to have a soup consistancy.
