1 box German chocolate cake mix
1-1/2 cups chopped pecans
1 (3oz.) pkg. coconut
1 (8oz.) cream cheese
1/2 cup margarine; melted
3-1/2 cups powdered sugar
Put pecans on bottom of 13x9-inch pan. Spread coconut over pecans. Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour over pecans and coconut.
Mix cream cheese, margarine and powdered sugar until smooth; spread over cake mix. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Bake for 45 -55 minutes.
Tip: Replace oil with applesauce and 2 Tablespoons flour for lower-fat cake.
