Maple Nut Bread

2 cups flour
4 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
3/4 cup low-fat or skim milk
1/4 cup maple syrup
1 egg, beaten
1 cup chopped nuts or raisins  or 1/2 cup of each

Stir dry ingredients together. Stir in milk, syrup and egg. Add chopped nuts or raisins and mix. Pour into a greased bread pan and bake 1 hour in a 350 degree oven.
