Sweet and Sour Party Meatballs

1 lb. lean ground Beef
1 lb. ground Pork
2 cups soft bread crumbs
1 small onion -chopped
2 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. butter
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 cup vinegar
3/4 cup sugar
3 drops hot sauce
1 Tbsp. worestershire sauce
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 (20 oz. ) can pineapple chunks, drained
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce

  Combine first 7 ingredients, mixing well, shape into 1-inch meatballs
Brown in butter over medium heat: drain
Place meatballs in a 13x9x2 inch baking dish
Combine cornstarch, vinegar and sugar in a medium sauce pan, cook over low hear, stirring constantly, until clear and thickened.
Stir in remaining ingredients, pour over meatballs.
Bake at 300 degrees for 40 minutes.
Tip: Prepare and put into a crockpot to serve and keep warm.
