| The banners and the characters they portray are all original works inspired by the banners of the 1930-1950 era. The characters are from my own short stories that you will find in part or in full on the pages with the larger images. The banners are real banners made of heavy canvas, sewn and grommeted, painted with acrylics to have the appearance of having spent a couple of years in use: faded, yet the colors are still brilliant.
