A broken remnant of a forgotten fresco with a copper plaque that displays the passage being illustrated. Too small to read in this picture, the text is reproduced below.
IN THE BEGINNING
GOD CREATED
THE HEAVEN
AND THE EARTH
AND
GOD SAID
LET THERE BE LIGHT
AND THERE WAS LIGHT.

AND THEN GOD CREATED
A LOT OF OTHER
GOOD THINGS AND
WAS PRETTY BUSY
FOR ABOUT
A WEEK.

AND WHEN HE WAS
GOOD AND WARMED UP
GOD TOOK
HIS BEST SHOT
AND CREATED
THE
CAT.

AND GOD SAID
"HOW ABOUT
A LITTLE FISH,
IT’S FRESH
I JUST MADE IT"
AND IT WAS GOOD.
