One hapless individual took a left turn along the way and was lost for weeks. Our search party was successful eventually, but poor Angus was only a shadow of his former self when we reached him. [HUGE GRIN] I warned him to top up his canteen with his favourite potent potion before starting off through the maze at my website, particularly if he intended to wander off through the LYNX at CAT's page. [I have been lost there a few times myself.]

NOTICE TO FAMILY MEMBERS

The middle three sections and "heart" of my website are devoted to our five surviving ROSS branches, who emigrated from Scotland to Ontario. Since most family members know which branch they belong to, it is highly unlikely that I shall be responding to many inquiries from non-members. [HUGE GRIN]

1. Any permission granted under the GENERAL NOTICE also applies to family members. Please advise me if there is some special case, which is not covered here.

2. A guide to the entire site will be sent at no charge in an email to family members when a request is received by email. [Simply identify yourself and your branch.]

3. Similarly, an up-to-date file (or set of files) will be sent as an attachment via email at no charge to any family member of one of the 5 branches. [There are currently over 532 families recorded and indexed in "The Ross-ter"]. Most wordprocessors can translate the files. Make certain that the contents of your "In Box" do not exceed the limit allowed by your Internet Server.

4. An annual Christmas Ross-ter Update is emailed to aproximately 50 families in our branches. There is no charge for this service. Members are encouraged to print and share the updates with other members in our extended family.
