17 OCTOBER 1999

7.15 a.m.     Woke up late. Ate two sandwiches hurriedly. Drank a cup of coffee.
                    “Rushed for school” for extra lessons.

9.00 a.m.     Went home. Watched “Golden Kids Show”. Helped sister to mop floor.

11.00 am.    Went to Ah Fatt’s shop. Bought sugar, salt, flour and a dozen tins of condensed
                    milk.

12.40 p.m.   Had tasty fish head curry and tomato rice for lunch. Praised mum.

1.00 p.m.    Washed plates and cleaned up kitchen. Helped dad to washed his car.

2.00 p.m.    Watched movie on TV2 – The Misfortunes Of Mr Bean.

3.00 p.m.    Took a nap

4.30 p.m.   Went fishing with Budin and Ravi. Lucky day. Caught two “well fed” catfish.

6.00 p.m.    Had a bath. Revised school work and completed homework.

8.00 p.m.    Dad gave a surprise. Went to “Yummy Restaurant”. Had a wonderful dinner.
                   Mummy received a beautiful gold bangle. She's 35 today. Must have cost him
                   a fortune.

10.30 p.m. Completely exhausted. Went to bed.
