Dear Swee Chin,
         How are you? I Have interesting news for you. My class is putting up a play again after the end-of-year examination. It’s called “Aladdin and the Magic Lamp.” We will start practising in August.
         Amin, the class monitor, will act as Aladdin because he is tall and handsome, Geok Suan will play the part of Princess Jasmine. Geok Suan is the prettiest girl in my class. She will look like a real princess. Govindasamy is fat and mascular, so he will be a genie. He looks fierce when he says, “ Aladdin, my master! Don’t rub the lamp when I am sleeping!” He is the funniest actor in the school.
         I will be Aladdin’s mother. I am shorter than Aladdin. I must draw lines on my face and put white powder on my hair. I  must not look younger than Aladdin!
         Do come to watch my play. I am sure you will enjoy every minute of it.
