Story 10

        It was 7.30 p.m. when Dumai and his friend,  Limbah reached the middle of the deep
jungle. They  carried  guns for they were  hunters.
        They went to a muddy path.  They looked at it and it assured them that  there
 were deer around.
        Limbah climbed up a big tree and sat down on a strong big branch .  Dumai
climbed up another tree and he did the same .  They waited patiently.
Time passed.  There were no deer in sight.
         Then suddenly , Dumai saw two pairs of bright eyes in the dark.  They were
approaching  near and near.  Both the hunters pointed their guns at the two pairs of eyes
Two shots rang out and the eyes felt.

1.  How did the two hunters know there were deer?
